Boris Diaw French basketball executive and former player

Boris Babacar Diaw-Riffiod, better known as Boris Diaw, is a French basketball executive and former player who is the president of Metropolitans 92 of LNB Pro A. Diaw began his playing career in Pro A and returned to that league after 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played mostly at the power forward position. The 2011 European Women Basketball Championship, commonly called EuroBasket Women 2011, was the 33rd regional championship held by FIBA Europe. The competition was held in Poland from 2011. This was the 4th time that the EuroBasket Women was hosted by Poland.

EuroBasket 2013 was the 38th edition of the EuroBasket championship that is organized by FIBA Europe. It took place from 4 September until 22 September 2013 in Slovenia. The number of participating teams was 24.

EuroBasket Women 2013

The 2013 European Women Basketball Championship, commonly called EuroBasket Women 2013, was the 34th regional championship held by FIBA Europe. The competition was held in France from 15–30 June 2013. This was the fourth time that the EuroBasket Women has been hosted by France.

EuroBasket Women 2015

The 2015 European Women Basketball Championship, commonly called EuroBasket Women 2015 was the 35th edition of the continental tournament in women's basketball, sanctioned by the FIBA Europe. The tournament was co-held in Hungary, which hosted the championship for the fifth time after 1950, 1964, 1983 and 1997, and Romania which hosted it for the second time after 1966, on 11–28 June 2015. The event was hosted by more than one country for the first time.

Sasha Vezenkov Bulgarian professional basketball player

Aleksandar "Aleks" Vezenkov, commonly known as Sasha Vezenkov, is a Bulgarian professional basketball player for Olympiacos of the EuroLeague. He is a 2.06 m tall 102 kg (225 lb.) power forward, that can also play as a small forward. Vezenkov was born in Cyprus, but, due to his Bulgarian descent, he has regularly chosen to represent the Bulgarian national team. Vezenkov holds triple citizenship for Bulgaria, Cyprus and Greece.

The qualification for the EuroBasket Women 2015 was split in two parts. In the first round teams that has not qualified for the 2013 competition were eligible to enter. Second qualifying round was held from June 7 to June 25, 2014.

Marina Maljković is a Serbian professional basketball coach. She currently serves as a head coach for the Denso Iris of the Women's Japan Basketball League and for the Serbia women's national basketball team.

The French Basketball Academy is a hall of fame that honors individuals that have contributed to the spread and improvement of French basketball, through their sporting contributions, and their actions in support of the game in France. Inductees are chosen by the Hall's Honorary committee. It was founded in 2004.
