Evert Johan Kroon (born 9 December 1966) is a swimmer who represented the Netherlands Antilles. He competed in three events at the 1984 Summer Olympics. [1]

After two seventh-place finishes Kroon won the bronze medal with the Dutch Men's Water Polo Team at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was given the honour to carry the national flag of the Netherlands at the closing ceremony of the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, becoming the thirteenth water polo player to be a flag bearer at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics.

Between 1960 and 1964 he was four times national champion and set 12 national records in the 100 m freestyle event. He was the first Dutch athlete to swim 100 meters within 55 seconds.
