Every Knee Shall Bow is an independent Christian metal band that consists of brothers guitarists Drew and Cole, bassist Shane, drummer DJ Wibblesman, and returning vocalist Chris Hull. The band's debut EP was mixed by Rocky Gray of Living Sacrifice, Evanescence, and Machina. [5] The band was recommended in an interview with Gray and Jon Dunn of Soul Embraced about the local Arkansas metal scene. [6] Their debut album was released on March 12, 2013. It was produced by Josh Barber (Norma Jean, Hands, Colossus).

History

The band started in 2002 with the older brothers, Drew and DJ Wibblesman, (at the time ages, 16 and 11). In 2008, their younger brothers Cole and Shane (ages 9 and 8) joined them, when the band officially formed. Tanner Ramsey was a part of the band in 2008 until 2010, when vocalist Chris Hull joined in November 2010. [7] [8]

The band recorded their debut EP in 2012, which was mixed by Rocky Gray of Living Sacrifice. [5] In 2013, the band recorded their debut album, Slayers of Eden , which was produced by Josh Barber (Norma Jean, Hands, Your Memorial) and released through Rottweiler Records. [1] [4] In 2014 they toured with Abated Mass of Flesh. Hull left the band later in October. [9] and was replaced by Luke Carlson. Carlson left the band in 2015, to get married. [10] [ non-primary source needed ] The band left Rottweiler Records in early 2016. On November 6, 2018, the band released their first single since their debut in 2013, five years later, with the track "Birth". [11]

Living Sacrifice is an American Christian metal band formed in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1989. The band has released eight studio albums, out of which the first three were recorded under R.E.X. Records with their original vocalist Darren Johnson as a more thrash metal and death metal oriented band. The band evolved into a groove metal and metalcore style beginning with Reborn (1997) under Solid State Records with the original guitarist Bruce Fitzhugh on vocals. In 2003, the group disbanded due to other projects and later their label, Solid State, released their best-of album, In Memoriam (2005). In 2008, Living Sacrifice reformed and released a two-song digital only single called Death Machine. They then began working on The Infinite Order which was released on January 26, 2010. Soul Embraced is an American Christian melodic death metal band from Little Rock, Arkansas. It was originally a side project for Rocky Gray and David Sroczynski.

William Caldwell "Rocky" Gray is an American drummer and guitarist. He is a guitarist for the bands Living Sacrifice, Even Devils Die, and Creepy Carnival, and the drummer for Soul Embraced, Mourningside, Machina, and We Are the Fallen. He played drums for Evanescence from 2003–2007 and Fatal Thirteen from 2006–2014, and was a guitarist for Shredded Corpse (1991–1998) and Solus Deus (2012–2017). Gray also released a solo album titled Accursed (2015).

Solus Deus was a death metal supergroup project from Orange County, California, United States. All of its musicians have been in other bands, such as Bleed the Sky, Living Sacrifice, Chimaira, Time Spent Burning, The Elite, and Once to Die. The band's name means "Only God", which vocalist Jey Collins says is personal to him. Other band members have their own personal beliefs. However, Solus Deus does not claim to be a religious band. In 2016, the band signed to EMP Underground, and Imprint of Dave Ellefson's (ex-Megadeth) label, EMP Label Group, who have a distributing deal through eOne.

A Past Unknown was an American Christian metal band from Cedar Falls, Iowa. They were known for playing a metalcore style with a more melodic metalcore sound. The band started making music in 2009, and their members at the time were lead vocalist, Grant Lilly, guitarists, Nick Powell and Trevor Rozendaal, bassist, Dirk Wiese, and drummer, Adam Aalderks. When Aalderks left the band, Jack Van Gent became the drummer. The band released their first studio album, To Those Perishing, in 2011 with Red Cord Records. Their second studio album, Vainglory, was released by Red Cord Records, in 2012. They disbanded in the middle of 2013.

Grave Robber is an American horror punk band from Fort Wayne, Indiana. The band started rehearsing in 2005. In 2006, Grave Robber released a vinyl EP, Love Hurts independently. Their first two studio albums, Be Afraid and Inner Sanctum, were released by Retroactive Records, correspondingly in 2008 and 2009. The subsequent three studio albums, Exhumed, You're All Gonna Die!, and Escaping The Grave were released by Rottweiler Records, correspondingly in 2010, 2011, and 2018. Forfeit Thee Untrue, also known as FTU, is a South African Christian metal band who formed in 2006. Hand of Fire is an American thrash metal band that originated in California. The project was initially formed in 2010 as a collaboration between Jim Settle and Corey Steger before evolving into a full band in 2015 under Settle's leadership. After signing with Rottweiler Records in 2016, they released their critically acclaimed debut album Nuclear Sunrise in 2017.
