Exciter is the fifth studio album by the Canadian speed metal band Exciter, released through the Canadian label Maze Music in 1988. The album was re-released in 1995 Magnetic Air Records and again by Megaforce Records in 2005 with the title O.T.T., which stands for Over the Top. [3] This is the first album as a quartet, with new frontman Rob Malnati replacing Dan Beehler as lead vocalist of the band.

Exciter is a Canadian speed metal band from Ottawa, Ontario, formed in 1978. Named after a song by Judas Priest, they are considered to be one of the first speed metal bands and a seminal influence of the thrash metal genre; the band was heavily influenced by a variety of music styles, including Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Motörhead, Rush, Jethro Tull and Grand Funk Railroad. Despite many changes in personnel as well as two breakups, Exciter has managed to keep a small but dedicated following over the years.

Play Dirty is the fourth studio album by British heavy metal band, Girlschool, released on Bronze Records in 1983 and produced by Noddy Holder and Jim Lea from the hard rock band Slade. It was the first Girlschool album not to enter the UK Top 40 album chart and signalled a general downturn in their career, along with an inclination towards a softer rock sound. Kelly Johnson left the band soon after the release and an intended full US-tour never materialised. In the UK, two singles were lifted from the album, each having a picture-sleeve:
Dan Beehler is a Canadian singer and musician. He is the original drummer and lead vocalist of Canadian heavy metal band Exciter from its inception in 1978 to 1993. Although he did not perform vocals on the Exciter O.T.T. album, he continued to play drums until the band split after the release of Better Live Than Dead in 1993.
Phantom Blue is the self-titled first studio album by all-female heavy metal band Phantom Blue, released in 1989 through Shrapnel Records and Roadrunner Records. Guitarist Marty Friedman, at the time a member of the band Cacophony, and later of Megadeth, is credited as a co-producer. According to drummer Linda McDonald, the music video for "Why Call It Love?" was filmed within a maximum security prison in Carson City, Nevada.

Icon was the self-titled debut album by the heavy metal band Icon. It included their biggest metal radio hit song, "On Your Feet". The album was re-released the same year with songs 1 and 3 re-mixed, and a video was made for the remix of "On Your Feet". The album has seen multiple re-releases on CD, in Japan and on the European labels Bear Tracks, AxeKiller and Rock Candy.
