Italian anarchism as a movement began primarily from the influence of Mikhail Bakunin, Giuseppe Fanelli, Carlo Cafiero, and Errico Malatesta. Rooted in collectivist anarchism and social or socialist anarchism, it expanded to include illegalist individualist anarchism, mutualism, anarcho-syndicalism, and especially anarcho-communism. In fact, anarcho-communism first fully formed into its modern strain within the Italian section of the First International. Italian anarchism and Italian anarchists participated in the biennio rosso and survived Italian Fascism, with Italian anarchists significantly contributing to the Italian Resistance Movement. Platformism and insurrectionary anarchism have long been particularly common in Italian anarchism and continue to influence the movement today. The synthesist Italian Anarchist Federation and insurrectionary Informal Anarchist Federation appeared after the war, and autonomismo and operaismo especially influenced Italian anarchism in the second half of the 20th century.
The Federazione Italiana Rugby League is the governing body for the sport of rugby league football in Italy. The association was formed in 2008. They acquired full membership status of the RLEF in March 2017. and of the RLIF in November 2017.
The Informal Anarchist Federation is an insurrectionary anarchist organization. It has been described by Italian intelligence sources as a horizontal structure of various anarchist groups, united in their beliefs in revolutionary armed action. Groups and individuals comprising the FAI act both as separate organizations and also under the FAI, and are known to work together. The FAI notably has similar aims and ideals to the Greek Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei, the two often working in solidarity with each other, and the SPF being known to announce solidarity with FAI in their communiques. The group started in Italy, and since 2012 has committed attacks in other countries across the world.

The World Futsal Association (AMF) is the governing body of futsal for both fully and non-independent states or regions, headquartered in Asuncion, Paraguay. It was founded on 25 July 1971 as the International Futsal Federation (FIFUSA) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; on 1 December 2002, the organization was replaced, changed its name to Spanish version Asociación Mundial de Futsal (AMF).

The Islamabad Football Association (IFA) is the regional governing body of association football and futsal in Islamabad, Pakistan. Its headquarters are located in Jinnah Sports Stadium. IFA is responsible for the organization and governance of football's major regional tournaments in Islamabad region including IFA 'A' and 'B' Division Leagues, the Jashan-i-Azadi Football Tournament, and the Islamabad Challenge Cup. It also organizes various Islamabad teams which participate in local and domestic tournaments.
