Futsal Association of India (FAI) is the governing body of state-level futsal and Asian Premier Futsal Championship in India.

Contents

FAI has been developing futsal through various district and state championships. FAI organised its 1st Youth Futsal Championship in 2011. [1]

FAI is affiliated with Asociación Mundial de Fútbol de Salón (AMF) since 2011, and was a founding member of the Confederation of Asian Futsal (CAFS). [2]

Football is a sport with a comparatively brief history in Bhutan, having had an initial period of favour in the mid-twentieth century, when it was first introduced to the country by visiting teachers from India and Europe. The 2021 FIFA U-20 World Cup was to be the 23rd edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth football championship contested by the under-20 national teams of the member associations of FIFA, since its inception in 1977 as the FIFA World Youth Championship. It was scheduled to be hosted by Indonesia between 21 May and 12 June 2021, which would be the first FIFA tournament hosted by the country. It would also be only the second U-20 World Cup to be held in Southeast Asia, first since 1997, and the first FIFA tournament in the region since the 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup.

The 2023 AFC Futsal Club Championship will be the 11th edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship, the annual international futsal club championship in Asia organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

The Lebanon women's national futsal team represents Lebanon in international women's futsal competitions. Nicknamed "the Lady Cedars", the team is controlled by the Lebanese Football Association (LFA).
