FC Concordia Basel is a Swiss football club based in Basel. The club was founded in 1907. They play in the 2. Liga Interregional (fifth level), and their home stadium was Rankhof Stadium until the 2008-09 season.

Concordia is ranking as the number 3 club of Switzerland in the all-time table of the 1. Liga. [1] They won the Och Cup (considered as the former Swiss Cup) in 1922. It is the club's only title.

In September 2008, Concordia Basel became the first football club in Western Europe to sign North Korean players when they signed North Korea internationals Pak Chol-Ryong and Kim Kuk-Jin. [2]

FC Concordia Basel has been cooperating with FC Basel in the past. FC Concordia Basel has recently won clashes with some major clubs such as FC Basel and Young Boys.

Stadion Rankhof is a football stadium in Basel, Switzerland. It has a capacity of 7,600 with 1,000 seats and 6,600 standing places. The record attendance of the original stadium was about 30,000 spectators. The stadium was rebuilt between 1993 and 1995. The stands face south towards the grass pitch. The north side of the stadium is completely constructed of glass to protect against the wind. The dimension of the pitch is 100 x 64 metres. It has a grass surface and flood-lighting. The second pitch, north of the stands, is the same size and also has flood-lighting. Rankhof has four training and one synthetic pitch, this also has flood-lights. Further there is a gymnasium and six tennis courts.

The Fussball Club Basel 1893 1985–86 season was their 92nd season since their foundation on 15 November 1893. It was the club's 40th consecutive season in the top flight of Swiss football since their promotion in the 1945–46 season. FC Basel played their home games in the St. Jakob Stadium. Urs Gribi was the club's chairman for the third consecutive year.

The Fussball Club Basel 1893 1986–87 season was their 93rd season since the club's foundation. It was their 41st consecutive season in the top flight of Swiss football since they achieved promotion in the 1945–46 season. FC Basel played their home games in the St. Jakob Stadium. Peter Max Sutter was the club's newly appointed chairman.
