FICCI Frames is an international convention of the Media & Entertainment (M&E) industry, formerly chaired by Yash Chopra and co-chaired by Karan Johar. It is organized annually by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). [1] [2] [3]

FICCI FRAMES is Asia's largest and most influential annual media & entertainment convention and is one of the most definitive platforms for Media & Entertainment Industry over the last 22 years to brainstorm on the issues related to the sector, ideate solutions, share global best practices, showcase cutting-edge technologies, and putting up a Global Trade show of M&E businesses.

FRAMES not only facilitate communication and exchange between key industry figures, influencers and policy makers, it is also an unparalleled platform for the exchange of ideas and knowledge between individuals, countries and conglomerates. FRAMES has brought together more the 400,000 professionals from India and abroad representing the various sectors of the industry.

1. Frame Your Idea- Pitching Sessions

A platform for those with a creative spark and the burning desire to achieve success in celluloid but having no access to makers, Frame Your Idea provides budding scriptwriters and content creators a chance to pitch their ideas and creations to big Production houses. 10 Projects Greenlit: Over 10 Scripts have been successfully commercialized into big Projects.

2. Best Animated Frames (BAF) Awards

BAF felicitates the best of the minds from across the world in the field of Animation by recognizing their contribution and awarding them at the platform of FRAMES. Every year 400+ applications are received across 10 categories from 12+ countries.

Yash Raj Chopra was an Indian film director and film producer who worked in Hindi cinema. The founding chairman of the film production and distribution company Yash Raj Films, Chopra was the recipient of several awards, including 6 National Film Awards and 8 Filmfare Awards. He is considered among the best Indian filmmakers, particularly known and admired for his heroine based romantic films. For his contributions to film, the Government of India honoured him with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2001, and the Padma Bhushan in 2005. In 2006, British Academy of Film and Television Arts presented him with a lifetime membership, making him the first Indian to receive the honour.

Mujhse Dosti Karoge! is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language coming-of-age romance comedy film directed by Kunal Kohli and produced by Yash Chopra for his banner, Yash Raj Films. The film stars Rani Mukherji, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles, with Uday Chopra in a cameo appearance. It follows the love triangle of 3 childhood friends: Pooja Sahani (Mukherji), Raj Khanna (Roshan) and Tina Kapoor (Kapoor). The film marked the first and only collaboration between Mukherji and Roshan.

Arjun Kapoor is an Indian actor working in Hindi films. Born to the Surinder Kapoor family, he is the son of film producer Boney Kapoor and Mona Shourie. Kapoor made his acting debut in 2012 with the drama Ishaqzaade which was commercially successful and earned him several awards, including the Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow – Male. He had further commercial successes in the 2014 films Gunday and 2 States. This was followed by a series of box-office flops in his career, with the exception of the romantic drama Ki & Ka (2016).

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language black comedy drama film directed and produced by Dibakar Banerjee with distribution by Yash Raj Films. Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor star in lead roles. The filming began on 7 November 2017 in Mahipalpur. Initially scheduled for theatrical release on 20 March 2020, the film was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic in India. After being delayed for a year, it was finally released theatrically on 19 March 2021 and later on Amazon Prime.

<i>War</i> (2019 film) 2019 film by Siddharth Anand

War is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language action-thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand and written by Anand, Aditya Chopra, Shridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is the third installment in the YRF Spy Universe. It stars Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in lead roles with Vaani Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana and Anupriya Goenka playing supporting roles. In the film, Khalid Rahmani (Shroff), an Indian soldier who works for RAW, is assigned to eliminate his former mentor Kabir Dhaliwal (Roshan), who has gone rogue.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Yash Chopra filmography</span> Yash Chopras films

Yash Chopra (1932–2012) was an Indian film director and producer known for his works in Bollywood. Acknowledged as one of the greatest filmmakers from the country, he was credited by the media for "changing the face of romance to become a brand" in the industry. He made his directorial debut with the family drama Dhool Ka Phool, which was produced by his elder brother Baldev Raj. The film, released in 1959, became a commercial success worldwide and gave him critical acclaim. Chopra's next film, Dharmputra (1961), failed to perform well at the box office but won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. In 1965, he directed the drama Waqt about a family who are separated due to a natural disaster. A commercial success, it was one of the earliest Indian films to star an ensemble cast and won a first Best Director trophy for him at the Filmfare Awards.
