FICCI Frames is an international convention of the Media & Entertainment (M&E) industry, formerly chaired by Yash Chopra and co-chaired by Karan Johar. It is organized annually by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). [1] [2] [3]
FICCI FRAMES is Asia's largest and most influential annual media & entertainment convention and is one of the most definitive platforms for Media & Entertainment Industry over the last 22 years to brainstorm on the issues related to the sector, ideate solutions, share global best practices, showcase cutting-edge technologies, and putting up a Global Trade show of M&E businesses.
FRAMES not only facilitate communication and exchange between key industry figures, influencers and policy makers, it is also an unparalleled platform for the exchange of ideas and knowledge between individuals, countries and conglomerates. FRAMES has brought together more the 400,000 professionals from India and abroad representing the various sectors of the industry.
Activities at FICCI Frames include conference sessions, keynote addresses, masterclasses and workshops, policy roundtables, B2B meetings, exhibitions, cultural evenings, networking events, and the BAF Awards.
A platform for those with a creative spark and the burning desire to achieve success in celluloid but having no access to makers, Frame Your Idea provides budding scriptwriters and content creators a chance to pitch their ideas and creations to big Production houses. 10 Projects Greenlit: Over 10 Scripts have been successfully commercialized into big Projects.

Yash Raj Chopra was an Indian film director and film producer who worked in Hindi cinema. The founding chairman of the film production and distribution company Yash Raj Films, Chopra was the recipient of several awards, including 6 National Film Awards and 8 Filmfare Awards. He is considered among the best Indian filmmakers, particularly known and admired for his heroine based romantic films. For his contributions to film, the Government of India honoured him with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2001, and the Padma Bhushan in 2005. In 2006, British Academy of Film and Television Arts presented him with a lifetime membership, making him the first Indian to receive the honour.
Karan Johar, often informally referred to as KJo in the Hindi Film Industry, is an Indian filmmaker and television personality, who primarily works in Hindi cinema. He has launched the careers of several successful actors under his own Dharma Productions. The recipient of several accolades, including a National Film Award and six Filmfare Awards, he has been honored with Padma Shri, the country's fourth highest civilian award by the Government of India in 2020.
Aditya Chopra is an Indian filmmaker, film distributor, and studio executive. He is the current Chairman of India's multi-national film, media, and entertainment conglomerate Yash Raj Films (YRF). The films he has produced make him the highest grossing Indian film producer of all time.
Mujhse Dosti Karoge! is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language coming-of-age romance comedy film directed by Kunal Kohli and produced by Yash Chopra for his banner, Yash Raj Films. The film stars Rani Mukherji, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles, with Uday Chopra in a cameo appearance. It follows the love triangle of 3 childhood friends: Pooja Sahani (Mukherji), Raj Khanna (Roshan) and Tina Kapoor (Kapoor). The film marked the first and only collaboration between Mukherji and Roshan.
Dharma Productions Pvt. Ltd., commonly known and doing business as Dharma Productions, is an Indian film production and distribution company established by Yash Johar in 1979. It was taken over in 2004, after his death, by his son, Karan Johar. Based in Mumbai, it mainly produces and distributes Hindi films.
Parineeti Chopra is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi films. Chopra is a recipient of several accolades, including a Filmfare and a National Film Award. She has appeared in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list since 2013.
Arjun Kapoor is an Indian actor working in Hindi films. Born to the Surinder Kapoor family, he is the son of film producer Boney Kapoor and Mona Shourie. Kapoor made his acting debut in 2012 with the drama Ishaqzaade which was commercially successful and earned him several awards, including the Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow – Male. He had further commercial successes in the 2014 films Gunday and 2 States. This was followed by a series of box-office flops in his career, with the exception of the romantic drama Ki & Ka (2016).
Sidharth Malhotra is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films. He began his career as a fashion model, but left it to pursue an acting career. He took on roles in television before assisting director Karan Johar on the 2010 film My Name Is Khan. He had his first lead role in Johar's teen film Student of the Year (2012).
Vaani Kapoor is an Indian actress who known for her work in Hindi films. She made her acting debut with the romantic comedy film Shuddh Desi Romance, which became critical and commercial success, and earned her Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language black comedy drama film directed and produced by Dibakar Banerjee with distribution by Yash Raj Films. Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor star in lead roles. The filming began on 7 November 2017 in Mahipalpur. Initially scheduled for theatrical release on 20 March 2020, the film was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic in India. After being delayed for a year, it was finally released theatrically on 19 March 2021 and later on Amazon Prime.
War is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language action-thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand and written by Anand, Aditya Chopra, Shridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is the third installment in the YRF Spy Universe. It stars Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in lead roles with Vaani Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana and Anupriya Goenka playing supporting roles. In the film, Khalid Rahmani (Shroff), an Indian soldier who works for RAW, is assigned to eliminate his former mentor Kabir Dhaliwal (Roshan), who has gone rogue.
Yash Chopra (1932–2012) was an Indian film director and producer known for his works in Bollywood. Acknowledged as one of the greatest filmmakers from the country, he was credited by the media for "changing the face of romance to become a brand" in the industry. He made his directorial debut with the family drama Dhool Ka Phool, which was produced by his elder brother Baldev Raj. The film, released in 1959, became a commercial success worldwide and gave him critical acclaim. Chopra's next film, Dharmputra (1961), failed to perform well at the box office but won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. In 1965, he directed the drama Waqt about a family who are separated due to a natural disaster. A commercial success, it was one of the earliest Indian films to star an ensemble cast and won a first Best Director trophy for him at the Filmfare Awards.
