FM 100 is a radio station in Pakistan broadcasting in nine cities, [2] which include Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Hyderabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Gujrat, Jhelum, Abbottabad, and Multan. It was founded on March 23, 1995, [3] and has a listening area covering most urban centres. [4] It was the first commercial radio station in Pakistan, providing live entertainment programs around the clock to promote Pakistani music among the population. [5]
Its slogan is "Assalam-o-Alaikum Pakistan," which means "May Peace be on Pakistan."
FM 100 was established in 1994 and started broadcasting its regular transmission on March 23, 1995. [6] In the early days, it broadcast in three cities (Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad). In 2012, it expanded its network to include Hyderabad and Rahim Yar Khan and soon added Gujrat, Jhelum, Abbottabad, and Multan in 2014. As of January 22, it plans to launch stations in Shikarpur, Jacobabad, and Benazirabad soon. [5]
Its regular programming includes religious programs, daily five-time prayers, Friday prayer sermons, national and international days coverage, special events coverage, talk shows, youth shows, kids slots, sports roundup, IT-related programs, along with the latest Pakistani pop, folk, and film music as well as Western music. The Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation ; also known as Radio Pakistan, serves as the national public broadcaster for radio in Pakistan. Although some local stations predate its founding, it is the oldest existing broadcasting network in Pakistan. Originally the network was established on 14 August 1947, following Pakistan's independence from Britain but on 20 December 1972 it was changed to a statutory body governed by the board of directors and a Director General. The train named after the famous Khyber Pass, located in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Khyber Mail is one of Pakistan's oldest and most prestigious passenger trains that has been continuously running since 12 February 1920. The Train has completed its 100 years of Service on February 12, 2020. The Train departs Karachi Cantonment at 22.00 hrs every night, Lahore Junction arrival next night 19.45 hrs & departure 20.20 hrs. The train reaches Peshawar Cantonment at 06.00 hrs on 3rd morning. Return timings is also same in Peshawar Cantonment to Karachi Cantonment journey. The train departs Peshawar Cantonment at 22.00 hrs, Lahore Junction arrival next morning 07.40 hrs & departure 08.15hrs. The train reaches Karachi Cantonment at 06.00 hrs on 3rd morning.
Tezgam Express is a daily express train service between Karachi and Rawalpindi in Pakistan. Tezgam means "fast runner". It is one of the oldest and popular trains of Pakistan. It was started in 1950s between Karachi and Peshawar. Later its route was shortened to Karachi and Rawalpindi.

Tezrao was a daily express train (5-Up/6-Down) service in Pakistan. The train ran between Karachi and Peshawar. Its name was changed to Zulfiqar Express during the Peoples Party government. After the Peoples Party government its name changed again to Tezrao. The train had economy and first-class sleeper accommodation. In 2008, its route was changed to Mardan to Karachi by the then railway minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour .It was suspended on 20 July 2010 due to lack of locomotives.
