Fabio Pasini (born 23 August 1980) is an Italian cross-country skier who has competed since 2000. He finished 24th in the individual sprint event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. [1] He is born in Gazzaniga.

Contents

Pasini's best finish at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was 17th in the individual sprint event at Liberec in 2009. His best World Cup finish was second in a team sprint event at Whistler Olympic Park on 18 January 2009. In 2010, he placed third in the free style sprint event of the Italian men's championships of cross-country skiing. [2]

His is the younger brother of cross-country skier Renato Pasini. [3]

She was the first American female cross-country skier to take a top ten finish in World Cup competition, to win a World Cup race and to win a World Cup discipline title. She won the silver medal in the individual sprint at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec, becoming the first American woman to win a medal in cross country skiing at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, and in 2013 teamed up with Jessie Diggins to win the first ever American FIS Nordic World Ski Championships gold medal in the team sprint. She and Diggins won the United States' first ever cross-country skiing gold medal at the Winter Olympics in women's team sprint at Pyeongchang in 2018.

Fabio Maj is an Italian cross-country skier who competed from 1992 to 2004. He won two silver medals in the 4 × 10 km relay at the Winter Olympics. He also finished 13th in the 10 km + 15 km combined pursuit at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano and 13th in the 30 km event at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City which were his best individual Olympic finishes.
