"Fabulous Life" is a song recorded by American singer Mya. An uptempo J-pop inspired tune, "Fabulous Life" was written by Andreas Levander, Edwin Serrano, and Mya with production helmed by Jeff Miyahara and Fredo. Released January 19, 2011 on her label imprint Planet 9 with distribution via Manhattan Recordings, "Fabulous Life" served as the lead single taken from the singer's sixth studio album K.I.S.S. (Keep It Sexy & Simple) .
Upon release, "Fabulous Life" received generally favourable reception from contemporary music critics whom praised the song's '80s pop inspired production. Commercially, "Fabulous Life" performed and charted moderately well in the Asian music market territory. Following the song's release, "Fabulous Life" was featured on the Bravo network to promote its Fashion By Bravo campaign.
For her sixth studio album K.I.S.S. (Keep It Sexy & Simple) , the singer decided to experiment with a new sound and incorporated J-pop inspired songs. [1] In an interview conducted by AOL Music, the singer briefly discussed why she opted to experiment with the genre and commented, "This is a new fun sound for me [...] and I'm ready to have some FUN!." [1] Described as "synthy," "happy," and "fun," "Fabulous Life" is an 80's freestyle, electropop jam written by Andreas Levander, Edwin Serrano, and Mya with a common runtime of three minutes and fifty-eight seconds. [2] [3] Produced by Jeff Miyahara and Fredo, "Fabulous Life" was recorded at Chalice Recording Studios in Los Angeles. [2] In addition to production duties, Jeff Miyahara engineered the track as well. [2] Mixing was provided by Satashi Hasai at Somewhere Studios in Tokyo, Japan. [2]
Issued as the lead single, "Fabulous Life" was pre-released December 29, 2010 on RecoChoku, a digital music phone app based in Japan. [4] Three weeks later, Manhattan Recordings released "Fabulous Life" January 19, 2011 on all digital platforms. [4] [5]
Critically, "Fabulous Life" was well received. Writing for MTV , Chris Ryan dubbed "Fabulous Life" one of MTV's Buzzworthy tracks and praised the song as "an addictive piece of dance pop stuffed with melodies." [3]
Following the single's release, NBC Universal licensed "Fabulous Life" to promote its Fashion By Bravo campaign. [6]

Mya Marie Harrison is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer, and actress. Classified as a "triple threat entertainer," she was born in Washington D.C. and studied ballet, jazz, and tap dance as a child. Her career began in television as a dance posse member, performing on BET's Teen Summit. She signed with record executive A. Haqq Islam's University Records, an imprint of Interscope Records to release her eponymous debut studio album (1998), which lyrically explored romance and coming-of-age scenarios. Met with critical and commercial success, the album was led by her first single, "It's All About Me", which peaked within the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100. Her collaborative singles — "Girls Dem Sugar", "Ghetto Supastar ", and "Take Me There" — were also met with commercial success.

Fear of Flying is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Mya, released on April 25, 2000, by University Music Entertainment and Interscope Records. Following the success of her debut album Mya (1998), Interscope promptly allocated the singer studio time and assembled recording sessions beginning as early as September 1999 which concluded in March 2000. For this record, Mya made the conscious decision to become involved more creatively, opting to pen her own lyrics after securing a publishing deal to launch her own publishing company as well as collaborate with a wider range of established producers and songwriters on the album. Looking to embrace a more mature sound, Harrison consulted and collaborated with a bevy of producers which included Rodney Jerkins, Swizz Beatz, Wyclef Jean, Knobody, Robin Thicke, Tricky Stewart, and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis.
"Beautiful World" is a song by Japanese American musician Hikaru Utada. It served as the theme song for Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, the 2007 film reboot of the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. It was released as a double A-side single on August 29, 2007 along with her song "Kiss & Cry", which had been released digitally three months earlier. In 2009, a remix of the song, "Beautiful World " served as the theme song of the second film in the series, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.

Sugar & Spice is the fifth studio album by American singer Mya. It was released by Manhattan Recordings exclusively in Japan on December 3, 2008. The album was produced through Mya's own independent label imprint Planet 9 following her departure from Universal Motown amid the leakage of her previous album Liberation in the Japanese music market. Rather than spending time in court suing Motown/Universal, she opted out of her contract. Mya was then approached to record more albums exclusively for the Japanese market because of the positive response Liberation received.

"Love Is the Answer" is a song by French DJ and record producer Cedric Gervais starring American singer Mýa. It served as Gervais's first single from his studio album Miamication and theme song for the NOH8 campaign. The track was inspired by humanity and various causes Harrison involves herself in particularly and most recently the NOH8 campaign. Written and composed by Mýa and Dee Roberts with additional production by Sandy Vee, the song made its world premiere at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel and Spa.
K.I.S.S. is the sixth studio album by American recording artist Mya. First released in Japan on April 20, 2011, it is her second studio album to be produced through Japanese record company Manhattan Recordings and her own label Planet 9. Although the record is a traditional R&B and pop album, Mya incorporated elements of multiple different genres after travelling to Jamaica as well as collaborating with Japanese musicians.

"Mr. Incredible" is a song by American recording artist Mya. It was written by Mýa and The Pen Up Dolls duo Lindsay "Lindz" Fields and Nia Myricks for her sixth studio album K.I.S.S. (2011), while production was helmed by Young Yonny. The sensual downtempo R&B song, was the third single from K.I.S.S to be lifted from the album.
Planet 9 is an American independent record label founded by American singer Mýa. After parting ways with her major label, Universal Motown and following the advice of her mentor J. Prince, Harrison established and developed her own independent label with a new business approach in mind to create and release music. Following the events of her fourth studio album, Liberation (2007) being mishandled and accidentally leaking on the internet, she was contracted by R&B based Japanese record company, Manhattan Recordings. Through that label, she exclusively release and self-funded, recorded, and engineered her first independent project, Sugar & Spice (2008). Three years later, she exclusively released the follow-up, the dance and club orientated K.I.S.S. (2011) through the same label.
Kiss Me Once is the twelfth studio album by Australian singer Kylie Minogue. It was released on 14 March 2014 by Parlophone, her first musical effort since her 2010 release Aphrodite. After celebrating her 25th career anniversary, Minogue signed with the American agency Roc Nation, which is managed by American rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z. Kylie and Garibay is the second extended play (EP) by musical duo Kylie and Garibay. Following Kylie Minogue's departure from her management company, Roc Nation, the three-track EP was released as a surprise on 11 September 2015 by Parlophone and her own production company, Kimberly Limited. Solely produced by Fernando Garibay, the EP served as an extension of the duo's first collaboration, Sleepwalker (2014). Initiated in September 2014, the recording process enlisted Giorgio Moroder, Sam Sparro, and Shaggy as co-writers and feature vocalists.
Smoove Jones is the seventh studio album by American singer Mya. It was released exclusively through Apple Music and iTunes on February 14, 2016 by Planet 9, Harrison's label, while physical copies were made available for purchase through the singer's official website. The project commemorates the release of the singer's debut single "It's All About Me" and eighteenth anniversary in the entertainment industry. Musically, Smoove Jones incorporated R&B/soul/hip-hop with old school elements from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Dubbed a concept album, the project exhibited Harrison portraying seductive radio hostess Smoove Jones, an after hours radio show she created specifically for her "grown and sexy" fans. Critically, Smoove Jones received favorable reception from music critics. It debuted at number thirty on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, marking her highest entry since 2003's Moodring. Subsequently, Smoove Jones received a nomination for Best R&B Album at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, which were held on February 12, 2017.
"Uh Huh" is a song recorded by American singer and songwriter Julia Michaels from her third extended play Nervous System (2017), and served as the second track of the EP. The song was written by Michaels, Justin Tranter and producers Mattias Larsson and Robin Fredriksson, who composed the duo Mattman & Robin. The song was released by Republic Records as the second single from Nervous System on June 2, 2017. "Uh Huh" is a midtempo guitar-driven punk pop song that talks about the fight of mind and emotion. Michaels described it as "the feeling of the breath before the kiss".
"You Got Me" is a song recorded by American singer Mya. It was written by Sydnii Raymor and Mya, while production was helmed by Lamar "Mars" Edwards. A "sexy, sultry" millennial slow jam similar to "Ready for Whatever" (2017), "You Got Me," is a blend of steady drums and sensual synths reminiscent of 90's R&B featuring Harrison's signature breathy coos. Released February 14, 2018, "You Got Me" serves as the third single from TKO and commemorates the twentieth anniversary of her debut single "It's All About Me."
"G.M.O. " is a song recorded by American singer Mýa. A collaborative effort, it was written and composed by Mýa, Tink and Lamar "My Guys Mars" Edwards, while production was helmed by the latter as well with additional contribution from producer Resource. Released August 31, 2018, "G.M.O. " is a synth driven and bass heavy midtempo ladies club anthem song and serves as a departure from Harrison's two R&B–rooted studio projects Smoove Jones (2016) and TKO (2018).
