"Easy" is a song by the Commodores for the Motown label, from their fifth studio album, Commodores. Group member Lionel Richie wrote "Easy" with the intention of it becoming another crossover hit for the group given the success of a previous single, "Just to Be Close to You", which spent two weeks at number one on the US Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart and peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1976.
"Midlife Crisis" is a song by the American rock band Faith No More. It was released on May 26, 1992 as the first single from their fourth album, Angel Dust. It became their only number-one hit on the Alternative Songs chart, and reached top ten on the UK Singles Chart.

The Lords of the Underground (L.O.T.U.G.) is an American hip-hop trio based in Newark, New Jersey. The group is composed of Dupré "DoItAll" Kelly, Al'Terik "Mr. Funke" Wardrick and Bruce A. "DJ Lord Jazz" Colston.
"Faded" is a pop rock song written by Matthew Gerrard, Jessica Origliasso, Lisa Origliasso and Robbie Nevil, produced by Gerrard and Bryon Jones for Kate DeAraugo's first album A Place I've Never Been (2005). It was released as the album's second single in Australia on 19 February 2006 as a CD single and digital download. In February 2007, the song was covered by American girl band Everlife and included on their second studio album, Everlife. Everlife's version was later featured on MTV's The Hills Season 3 Episode 10.
"Sound of the Underground" is the debut single of British pop group Girls Aloud, later featured on their debut album of the same name. The song was written by Miranda Cooper, Brian Higgins, and Niara Scarlett, and produced by Higgins and his production team Xenomania. Following Girls Aloud's formation on the ITV1 reality television show Popstars: The Rivals, "Sound of the Underground" was released just sixteen days later on 16 December 2002. Commercially, the song was an immediate success. It became the year's Christmas number one in the UK, spending four consecutive weeks atop of the charts in total. The song also reached number one in Ireland and peaked within the top forty in Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland.
"Can I Get A..." is a song recorded by American rapper Jay-Z, featuring Ja Rule and Amil. It was released on Def Jam's Rush Hour Soundtrack in promotion of the film Rush Hour, but also appears on Jay-Z's third album Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life as its first single. The song is produced by Irv Gotti and Lil' Rob. The song is notable for popularizing a young Amil and Ja Rule, as well as becoming one of Jay-Z's most commercially successful singles at the time, peaking at number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Despite not peaking at number one, it was the number-one pop single of 2000, becoming only the second single at the time to top the year end charts despite never spending a week at the top of the weekly charts and marking the first time this had happened in 35 years.

Keepers of the Funk is the second album by rap group, Lords of the Underground. The album was released in November 1, 1994 for Pendulum Records and was produced by Marley Marl, K-Def, Lords of the Underground and Andre Booth. Though Keepers of the Funk was not as successful as Here Come the Lords, the album did gain some success, making it to #57 on the Billboard 200 and #16 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The album is now out of print.
"Black and Gold" is the lead single from Australian singer Sam Sparro's eponymous debut album. The song was written by Sparro and Jesse Rogg. It has been remixed by Max Sanna and Steve Pitron, Paul Epworth, Al Usher, Kings of the Universe, Kromatik and Russ Chimes. The original version of the single was made available online on 23 March 2008, with the entire album available from 31 March. On 7 April, the CD, 12-inch, and limited edition 7-inch singles were released.

"Player" is a song recorded by American singer Tinashe, featuring guest vocals by American singer Chris Brown. It was released as a single on October 2, 2015, by RCA Records. The song was written by Tinashe, Myron Birdsong, Brown, its producers Lulou and Alexander Kronlund, and Chloe Angelides. "Player" was originally intended to be the lead single from Tinashe's third studio album, Joyride (2018), but it was later scrapped. An alternate version of the song, featuring Japanese rapper AK-69 instead of Brown, was included on the Japanese edition of Joyride.

It was first played at West's Yeezy Season 2 show in September 2015, before later being released for digital download and streaming as the third and final single from the album on September 9, 2016, through GOOD Music and Def Jam. 11 days later, the aforementioned labels serviced the song to radio stations across the United States. A hip house song with club elements, it samples Mr. Fingers' "Mystery of Love", Rare Earth and The Undisputed Truth's respective cover versions of "(I Know) I'm Losing You", Hardrive's "Deep Inside" and Barbara Tucker's "I Get Lifted ". The lyrics of the song focus on trying to hold on to a fading love.
"Faded" is a song by English-Norwegian record producer and DJ Alan Walker with vocals provided by Norwegian singer Iselin Solheim. The singer was originally set to be released on 25 November 2015, but was postponed to 3 December. The song was highly successful, peaking in the top 10 in most of the countries. It charted in, and reached the top spot in more than 10 countries. As of 25 February 2021, it is the 19th most viewed video on YouTube, with over 3 billion views, making it the first EDM track to hit that milestone. "Faded" is also the 44th most streamed song on Spotify as of April 2021, with over 1.3 billion streams.
