Farstucker is the fourth studio album from Belgian electronic band Lords of Acid. It was released on February 27,2001,on Antler-Subway Records and marks the band's full transition from the new beat sound of their earlier work to an industrial music collective,with use of more live instruments. This is the first Lords of Acid album to be released following the departure of founding member Nikkie Van Lierop (aka Jade 4 U),and the first featuring new vocalist Deborah Ostrega. [4]
Lyrically,Lords of Acid maintain their trademark themes of sex,drugs and hedonism.
Jade 4 U provides backing vocals on "Rover Take Over".
Farstucker peaked at number 160 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. Like prior studio albums Lust , Voodoo-U and Our Little Secret ,Farstucker was re-issued in 2002 in a "Stript" version,with all vocals removed.
The title is a spoonerism of "Starfucker".

Lords of Acid is a Belgian electronic music group, originally formed in 1988 by Praga Khan, Oliver Adams, and Jade 4U. The band is known for their provocative lyrics, blending techno, acid house, and industrial music with themes of sexuality, drug use, and hedonism. Their debut album, Lust (1991), became an underground hit, establishing their signature sound.
Yellow Magic Orchestra was a Japanese electronic music band formed in Tokyo in 1978 by Haruomi Hosono, Yukihiro Takahashi and Ryuichi Sakamoto. The group is considered influential and innovative in the field of popular electronic music. They were pioneers in their use of synthesizers, samplers, sequencers, drum machines, computers, and digital recording technology, and effectively anticipated the "electropop boom" of the 1980s. Tubeway Army were a London-based new wave band led by lead singer Gary Numan. Formed at the height of punk rock in 1977, the band gradually changed to an electronic sound. They were the first band of the electronic era to have a synthesiser-based number-one hit, with their single "Are 'Friends' Electric?" and its parent album Replicas both topping the UK charts in mid-1979. After its release, Numan opted to drop the Tubeway Army name and release music under his own name as he was the sole songwriter, producer and public face of the band, but he retained the musicians from Tubeway Army as his backing band.
Bernard Sumner is an English musician. He is a founding member of the bands Joy Division, New Order, Electronic, and Bad Lieutenant. Sumner was an early force in several areas, including the post-punk, synth-pop, and techno music scenes, as well as their various related genres, and was an early influence on the Manchester music scene that presaged the Madchester movement of the late 1980s centred on Factory Records and The Haçienda club in Manchester.
Eliminator is the eighth studio album by American rock band ZZ Top. It was released on March 23, 1983, by Warner Bros. Records, and rose high on the charts in many countries. Four hit singles were released—"Gimme All Your Lovin'" which reached the American Top 40, "Sharp Dressed Man", "TV Dinners" and their most successful single, "Legs". The Shamen were a British psychedelic band, formed in 1985 in Aberdeen, Scotland, who became a chart-topping electronic dance music act on the UK Singles Chart by the early 1990s. The founding members were Colin Angus, Derek McKenzie and Keith McKenzie. Peter Stephenson joined shortly after to take over on keyboards from Angus. Several other people were later in the band. Angus then teamed up with Will Sinnott, and together they found credibility as pioneers of rock/dance crossover. When rapper Mr. C joined, the band moved on to international commercial success with "Ebeneezer Goode" and their 1992 Boss Drum album.
Maurice Joseph François Engelen, known by his stage name Praga Khan, is a Belgian electronic musician. Khan is considered one of the leading pioneers of the new beat/acid house/techno electronic dance music scene that originated in Belgium. Khan has also contributed to the theatrical scene with his musical collaborations in The Next Dimension and Code Red. The group mostly performs in English, but has also released singles in German.
"Isolation" is a song by English rock band Joy Division. It appears on their second and final studio album Closer (1980). The song is based on an electronic drum beat by Stephen Morris, accompanied by a thin, trebly keyboard part by Bernard Sumner. Midway through the song, a rushing drum and hi-hat motif come in, propelling the song toward its dramatic end.
Blackmail is a German alternative rock band from Koblenz, Germany which was started briefly in 1993. Blackmail are singer Mathias Reetz, brothers Kurt Ebelhäuser and Carlos Ebelhäuser (bass) and drummer Mario Matthias. Their style of music usually varies, but mainly consists of the indie rock genre which is combined with experimentation of electronic music, progressive rock, alternative rock and dance. It is also known for its harsh and high-pitched guitar melodies.
Angelspit is an Australian electronic music band originally from Sydney and currently based in Chicago. The band was formed in 2004 by vocalists/synthesists Destroyx and ZooG. The band's music combines stylistic elements of horror, punk, pop and electronic music. Their work contains imagery revolving around medical experiments and grotesque societies. Angelspit has toured with Angel Theory, Ayria, Ikon, KMFDM, Tankt and The Crüxshadows, and have also shared the stage with bands such as The Sisters of Mercy, Nitzer Ebb, Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly. They performed with Lords of Acid during a 22-date U.S. tour in March 2011 and toured the United States with Blood on the Dance Floor in October 2011.
Lust is the debut album by Belgian band Lords of Acid, released in 1991. The band had released several 12-inch singles prior to their full-length debut, and these songs were already dance club hits.
Voodoo-U is the second studio album from Belgian electronic band Lords of Acid. It was released in 1994 on Rick Rubin's American Recordings label.
Our Little Secret is the third studio album from Belgian electronic band Lords of Acid. It was released in 1997 on Antler-Subway Records. Both musically and lyrically, Lords of Acid maintain the industrial music and sexually charged songs found on their previous album Voodoo-U, but with more of a house feel. Lead vocal duties on Our Little Secret were performed by Jade 4 U. The front CD cover is a photo of a woman from the waist up, while the unfolded CD cover booklet is the completed full-body photograph which reveals an outline of a penis in her blue jeans.
Private Parts is a hits compilation album by Belgian electronic band Lords of Acid in 2002. Private Parts was issued by Fingerlicking Good Records in European territories only. It contains tracks originally appearing on the band's four studio albums Lust, Voodoo-U, Our Little Secret and Farstucker. All the songs on the album have been re-recorded with Deborah Ostrega's vocals Also included are three new tracks, a new remix of the band's 1988 dance hit "I Sit on Acid" and the uncensored music video for "Gimme Gimme".
Greatest T*ts is a greatest hits compilation album by Belgian electronic band Lords of Acid and the third hits set released by the band. It contains tracks originally appearing on the band's four studio albums Lust, Voodoo-U, Our Little Secret and Farstucker and was issued in the U.S. only by Sanctuary Records.

With the exception of Praga Khan, who founded the band, Deep Chills features an entirely new lineup from previous releases and marks the first time an American vocalist to take on vocal duties for an album.
Mr. Peter Hayden is a Finnish alternative metal band often filed under post-metal, space rock or psychedelic doom. The band was formed in Kankaanpää, Finland in 2000. On their fourth album, Eternal Hayden, the band began to refer to themselves just by their logo, the PH-monogram, leading to confusion what the band should be called. Since then all variations from Mr. Peter Hayden to PH have been used, including ENPHIN after release of their sixth album End Cut in 2022. The group is also part of the Wastement collective.
Oomph! is a German rock band from Wolfsburg, formed in 1989. The band pioneered the Neue Deutsche Härte movement. Their work contains lyrics in both English and German, with a shift towards German exclusively on recent albums.
