Lords of Acid is a Belgian electronic music group, originally formed in 1988 by Praga Khan, Oliver Adams, and Jade 4U. The band is known for their provocative lyrics, blending techno, acid house, and industrial music with themes of sexuality, drug use, and hedonism. Their debut album, Lust (1991), became an underground hit, establishing their signature sound.
Lords of Acid debuted with the new beat single "I Sit on Acid" in 1988. Created by Praga Khan, Olivier Adams, and Jade 4U; their debut album, 1991's Lust (along with additional singles "Rough Sex" and "I Must Increase My Bust"). Their second album, Voodoo-U (1994), features Industrial dance music. This was followed by Our Little Secret (1997), a B-side compilation titled Heaven Is an Orgasm (1998), and a remix album titled Expand Your Head (1999). In 2000 they released a more rock-influenced fourth album titled Farstucker and in 2003, after being in the business for fifteen years, released a greatest hits album called Greatest T*ts .
Their fifth album Deep Chills was released on 10 April 2012. Tracks on the album included "Children of Acid", "Paranormal Energy" with Zak Bagans, and "Pop That Tooshie" with Alana Evans. [2]
In 2017, Lords of Acid re-released their back catalogue of albums through Metropolis Records as Special Remastered Band Editions, the albums featured bonus tracks selected from B-sides from singles with artwork re-designed by artist/producer Jo-Z Lords. [3] In 2018, Lords of Acid released their sixth album Pretty in Kink following a successful Kickstarter campaign. [4]
In early December, 2024 Lords Of Acid's manager Marc Jordan confirmed that the band has a new vocalist who will be featured on the new LP and will tour with Lords Of Acid in 2025: “The album will feature vocals from a well-known American female vocalist, known for her groundbreaking stage presence and powerhouse vocals.”

On January 3rd, 2025, Lords of Acid announced that former Butcher Babies vocalist, Carla Harvey has joined the band. [6]

My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult is an American electronic industrial rock band originally based in Chicago and founded by Groovie Mann and Buzz McCoy. Lead vocal duties on Voodoo-U are performed by Ruth McArdle and backing vocals by Jade 4U while some songs feature only Jade 4U. The album's first single, "The Crablouse", is an ode to pubic lice.
Our Little Secret is the third studio album from Belgian electronic band Lords of Acid. It was released in 1997 on Antler-Subway Records. Both musically and lyrically, Lords of Acid maintain the industrial music and sexually charged songs found on their previous album Voodoo-U. Lead vocal duties on Our Little Secret were performed by Jade 4 U. The front CD cover is a photo of a woman from the waist up, while the unfolded CD cover booklet is the completed full-body photograph which reveals an outline of a penis in her blue jeans.
Farstucker is the fourth studio album from Belgian electronic band Lords of Acid. It was released on February 27, 2001, on Antler-Subway Records and marks the band's full transition from the new beat sound of their earlier work to an industrial music collective, with use of more live instruments. This is the first Lords of Acid album to be released following the departure of founding member Nikkie Van Lierop, and the first featuring new vocalist Deborah Ostrega.
Private Parts is a hits compilation album by Belgian electronic band Lords of Acid in 2002. Private Parts was issued by Fingerlicking Good Records in European territories only. It contains tracks originally appearing on the band's four studio albums Lust, Voodoo-U, Our Little Secret and Farstucker. All the songs on the album have been re-recorded with Deborah Ostrega's vocals Also included are three new tracks, a new remix of the band's 1988 dance hit "I Sit on Acid" and the uncensored music video for "Gimme Gimme".

2017 Tommy & More was a United Kingdom 7-date concert tour by British band The Who. The first two nights saw the band performing live in its entirety their 1969 studio album Tommy along with a few classics, with the rest of the tour featuring an extended Tommy set as a centerpiece to an otherwise greatest hits show.
