Jacob Taio Cruz is a British singer, songwriter and record producer from London, England, currently based in Los Angeles. In 2008, he released his debut album Departure, which he wrote, arranged and produced. The album achieved certified gold status in the United Kingdom and earned him a Music of Black Origin Awards (MOBO) nomination.
"Be Mine!" is a song by Swedish recording artist Robyn, written and composed by herself and producer Klas Åhlund for her self-titled fourth studio album (2005). It was released as the album's lead single in Scandinavia in 2005 and released as the fourth single from the album across most European territories in 2008.
"Take Me Back" is a song by British rapper Tinchy Stryder, featuring vocals from Taio Cruz, it was produced by Fraser T Smith. The song features on Stryder's album Catch 22 and was released as the album's second single on 19 January 2009. "Higher" is the fifth single from English singer-songwriter Taio Cruz's second studio album, Rokstarr. It was written and produced by Cruz and Sandy Vee, and was released on 26 November 2010. This song was originally written for Australian singer Kylie Minogue's album Aphrodite, but plans fell through. However, Cruz and Minogue recorded a version of the song for the European release, while American rapper Travie McCoy recorded guest raps for the American release. The Brazilian and United Kingdom versions have parts of McCoy's rap mixed into the Minogue version. The version on Cruz's albums feature a solo vocal by Cruz with no guest vocalist and an edited version of the solo version was added to Radio Disney's playlist.
"Call Your Girlfriend" is a song by Swedish recording artist Robyn, taken from her seventh studio album, Body Talk (2010). It was released as the album's second single on 1 April 2011. The song was written by Robyn, Klas Åhlund and Alexander Kronlund. Åhlund handled production, with assistance by Billboard. In the song, Robyn portrays a woman who begs her new partner to break up with an old girlfriend, and advises on how to do it gently. "Call Your Girlfriend" is an electropop ballad with synths and a buzzing rhythm.

TY.O is the third studio album by British record producer and recording artist Taio Cruz. Taking a more electronic music sound than his previous releases, TY.O was released in December 2011 by Universal Island Records but for reasons unknown to Cruz, its British and American release were held off. Instead, a year after its original release, an extended play (EP) version of the album titled The Fast Hits was released in the UK on 16 December 2012.

It was released on 16 December 2011 in the United States as the second single from the Swedish House Mafia compilation album, Until Now. The remix EP was released on 15 January 2012 for the UK digital download in the iTunes Store. "Antidote" was written by Swedish House Mafia members Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, and Knife Party members Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen. The song contains vocals by Swedish American hip hop recording artist Adam Baptiste, whose vocals are uncredited, co-written by Swedish songwriter Klas Åhlund.

The track was released physically and digitally as the album's third single on 20 April 2012 in Germany. The song features vocals from American rapper, pop singer-songwriter and record producer Pitbull. The track was later selected to be released as the album's third single in the United Kingdom, being released on 25 June 2012. However, the British release of the track does not feature Pitbull. The track peaked at #12 on the UK Singles Chart.

Christmas Kisses is the debut Christmas record and extended play (EP) by American singer Ariana Grande. It was released on December 13, 2013 in most countries, and on December 17, 2013 in the United States, as a collection of two covers of classic Christmas songs, and two original songs. On December 3, 2014, the Japanese special edition was released for CD and two days later for digital download. It peaked at number twenty-five on the Oricon chart. The Japanese edition included a new track, "Santa Tell Me", which was released on November 24, 2014 as the fifth and final single from the EP. Faith has performed the single on Jools' Annual Hootenanny, and during the Paloma Faith Autumn Tour 2014. The song was also featured on the soundtrack for the Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.
