Background

In July 2019, Illenium and Excision were working on a then-untitled single in the studio, and then in September of the same year they debuted "Feel Something" during a back-to-back set at Lost Lands. [4]

EDM said that the song "incorporates both artists' soft and heavy sides". [5]

Jeff Abel, better known by his stage name Excision, is a Canadian producer and disc jockey. He is the founder of Rottun Recordings and Subsidia Records. Active since 2006, his first release, "Warning", was in 2007. He released an annual "Shambhala" mix album in the third quarter of each year until 2016.
