Fernando Silva (born 17 December 1972) is a Portuguese badminton player. He competed in two events at the 1992 Summer Olympics. [1] He won 4 bronze medals at the BWF World Senior Championships.

Career

After his participation in the 1992 Olympic Games, Silva partnered with Ricardo Fernandes and won the Slovenian International title in 1994. He later swapped partners with Marco Vasconcelos and won the Portugal International two consecutive times in 1997 and 1998 with Hugo Rodrigues.

Nhat Nguyen is an Irish badminton player. Born in Vietnam, Nguyen left the country for a new life in Dublin, Ireland along with his parents and older sister, when he was six years old. Then, he started playing badminton at the local club with his father. He was the gold medalist at the 2016 European U17 Championships in the boys' singles event, and also won the bronze medal in the doubles event partnered with Paul Reynolds. At the same year, he clinched the men's singles title at the Irish National Championships. Nguyen won his first senior international title at the Polish International in the men's doubles event with Reynolds, after that the men's singles title at the Welsh International.

Hans Sperre Jr. is a Norwegian badminton player. He competed in the men's singles tournament at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Sperre Jr. is a 16-time national champion in men's singles and has won the men's doubles title numerous times in the national championships with Jorn Myrestrand, Tor Egil Kristensen and Erik Lia.
