Shay-Oren Smadja is a former Israeli judoka and a judo coach. Smadja won the Olympic bronze medal in judo at the 1992 Summer Olympics, making him the first Israeli man to win an Olympic medal, and the second Israeli overall after Yael Arad won silver in judo the day before.
Udo Quellmalz, known as Quelle, is a German judoka. He competed in judo at the Summer Olympics, winning a bronze medal in 1992 and a gold medal in 1996. He also won the World Judo Championships in 1991 and 1995. Quellmalz was appointed head coach of the Flemish Judo Federation in 2022. He has previously directed the British judo team and served as a coach for the Austrian and Qatari teams.
Tuvshinbayar Naidan is a former professional Mongolian judoka. He is the 2008 Olympic Champion, 2012 Olympic silver medalist, 2014 Asian games champion, 2017 Budapest Bronze medalist, 2016 Asian championship Gold medalist, 2007 silver medalist and two-time bronze medalist in –100 kg division. Naidan is serving a sixteen-year jail term for a 2021 fatal assault on a fellow judoka and childhood friend.
Teddy Pierre-Marie Riner is a French judoka. He has won eleven World Championships gold medals, the first and only judoka to do so, and three Olympic gold medals. He has also won five gold medals at the European Championships. He was a member of the Levallois Sporting Club before joining Paris Saint-Germain in August 2017.
Armen Nazaryan is an Armenian judoka. Nazaryan was awarded the Master of Sport of Armenia, International Class title in 2005.
Aurélio Fernández Miguel is a Brazilian judoka and Olympic champion, and later politician. Among his best sporting achievements are his gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, and a bronze medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
Felipe Kitadai is a judoka from Brazil. He won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics and a gold at the 2011 Pan American Games. He also won gold medals six consecutive times in the Pan American Games Judo Championships: at 2011 Guadalaraja, 2012 Montreal, 2013 San José, 2014 Guayaquil, 2015 Edmonton and 2016 Havana.
Davaadorjiin Tömörkhüleg is a Mongolian judoka who competes in the men's -66 kg category.
Golan Pollack is an Israeli Olympic judoka. who competed in the half lightweight weight category.
Rustam Orujov is an Azerbaijani judoka. He competed in the men's 73 kg event at the 2012 Summer Olympics; after defeating Gideon van Zyl in the second round, he was eliminated by Mansur Isaev in the third round. He won the silver medal in the men's 73 kg event at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Djegui Bathily is a Senegalese judoka, who played for the heavyweight category. He won two bronze medals for his division at the 2007 All-Africa Games in Algiers, Algeria, and at the 2008 African Judo Championships in Agadir, Morocco.
Gisèle Mendy is a Senegalese judoka, who played for the middleweight category. She won three medals for her division at the African Judo Championships. She also captured a silver medal in the same division at the 2007 All-Africa Games in Algiers, Algeria, losing out to Algeria's Rachida Ouerdane.
Orkhan Safarov is an Azerbaijani judoka. He won the bronze at the 2013 World Judo Championships in the category –60 kg.
Yarden Gerbi is an Israeli former judoka world champion. She won an Olympic bronze medal competing for Israel at the 2016 Summer Olympics, in Women's 63 kg Judo.
Sagi Aharon Muki is an Israeli half-middleweight judoka. Muki is the 2019 World Champion. He also won the 2015 and 2018 European championships.
Or "Ori" Sasson is a retired Israeli Olympic judoka. He won a bronze medal in the +100 kg category at the 2016 Summer Olympics and another one at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He is the second of two Israelis to win two Olympic medals.
Beka Gviniashvili is a Georgian judoka who became European Junior Champion in 2013, 2014, and 2015 and won the World Junior Championships in 2013 in Ljubljana and in 2015 in Abu Dhabi and EYOF in 2011. He also became the U23 European Championship in 2016 in Tel Aviv. With the Georgian Juniors, he won the World and European titles. He is a promising rising judoka. He placed 5th at the 2015 World Judo Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan after losing in the bronze medal final against one of his colleagues Varlam Liparteliani. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, in the men's -100 kg category where he placed 7th. He took bronze at the 2017 European Judo Championships U90kg.
Ushangi Kokauri is an Azerbaijani judoka of Georgian origin, acting in the weight category over 100 kg, member of the national team of Azerbaijan in judo. Ushangi representing Azerbaijan at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's +100 kg event, in which he was eliminated in the second round by Hisayoshi Harasawa.He also take part at Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.
Hidayet Heydarov is an Azerbaijani judoka who won a gold medal at the 2017 European Judo Championships. He defeated his teammate Rustam Orujov at the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games final.
Mbagnick Ndiaye is a Senegalese judoka. He represented Senegal at the 2019 African Games held in Rabat, Morocco and he won the gold medal in the men's +100 kg event. In the same year, he also won the gold medal in the men's +100 kg event at the 2019 African Judo Championships held in Cape Town, South Africa.
