The Filmfare Best Lyricist Award is given by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Marathi Cinema, to the best lyricist of a soundtrack. This category was first presented in 2014. Guru Thakur was the first recipient of this award for his song "Maauli Maauli" from the film Lai Bhaari . [1] [2] [3] Each individual entry shows the title followed by the production company and the producer. [4]

<i>Jhimma</i> 2021 Marathi drama film

Jhimma is a 2021 Indian Marathi-language drama film directed by Hemant Dhome for Chalchitra Company. The film, written by Irawati Karnik and based on a story by Dhome, has an ensemble cast of Suhas Joshi, Nirmiti Sawant, Sonalee Kulkarni, Siddharth Chandekar, Kshitee Jog, Suchitra Bandekar, Mrinmayee Godbole, and Sayali Sanjeev. The story of the film revolves around a group of seven women travelling to London and discovering themselves. It was theatrically released on 19 November 2021, and grossed 14.07 crore (US$1.7 million) at the box office, becoming the second highest grossing Marathi film of 2021.

Chandramukhi is a 2022 Indian Marathi-language musical romantic drama film written by Chinmay Mandlekar and directed by Prasad Oak, produced under Planet Marathi, Golden Ratio Films, Flying Dragon Entertainment & Creative Vibe. Based on a novel of the same name, written by Vishwas Patil, the film follows an intense musical love story between leading Tamasha singer and dancer Chandramukhi and a rising politician Daulatrao and its repercussions. The film stars Amruta Khanvilkar in the titular role alongside Adinath Kothare and Mrunmayee Deshpande. The songs were composed by the duo Ajay–Atul.

The plot follows the intricacies of a theft with a range of colourful individuals, with the event mainly restricted to a single venue, a farm house owned by a crooked politician.

The Filmfare Marathi Best Director Award is one of the main awards presented given by the annual Filmfare Marathi Awards to recognise directors working in Marathi cinema. It was first presented in 1975.

The 8th Filmfare Marathi Awards is a ceremony, presented by R R Kabel Ltd, honored the best Indian Marathi-language films of 2023.
