This is the third film by trio of Sanjay Jadhav, Swwapnil Joshi and Sai Tamhankar after Duniyadari and Pyaar Vali Love Story. It is an official remake of the 2006 Tamil film Sillunu Oru Kaadhal starring Jyothika, Suriya and Bhumika.
