"Sukh Kalale" is a Marathi-language song from the soundtrack album of the film Ved , directed by Riteish Deshmukh. The song is composed and written by Ajay-Atul, sung by Shreya Ghoshal. [1] [2] The song depicting Shravani's (Genelia D'Souza) one-sided love in the film. It became a huge hit. A new version of the same song is featured in the voice of Ajay Gogavle. [3]

The lyrics were majorly penned by Siddharth-Garima. Ganesh Chandanshive penned the Marathi lyrics while the Qawwali lyrics were written by Nasir Faraaz. Mauli is a 2018 Indian Marathi-language action drama film directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Genelia D'Souza. The film stars Riteish Deshmukh in the title role along with Saiyami Kher. The film is a remake of Vettai (2012). Though the film is not a sequel, it carries a premise and various plot elements similar to the 2014 film Lai Bhaari. The film was initially supposed to be released on 21 December 2018 but it was changed to 14 December to avoid clashing with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero. The film was released on 14 December 2018. Upon release, Mauli received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for the cinematography, performance of Deshmukh, soundtrack, action sequences, and narration, but criticism for its writing and pace. It was also dubbed in Hindi under the same title in 2020.

The Filmfare Best Lyricist Award is given by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Marathi Cinema, to the best lyricist of a soundtrack. This category was first presented in 2014. Guru Thakur was the first recipient of this award for his song "Maauli Maauli" from the film Lai Bhaari. Each individual entry shows the title followed by the production company and the producer.

Sairat is the soundtrack album composed and written by Ajay–Atul, to the 2016 Marathi film of the same name, directed by Nagraj Manjule that stars Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar in lead roles. The film was produced by Nittin Keni, Nikhil Sane and Nagraj Manjule under the productions Zee Studios, Essel Vision Productions and Aatpat Productions. The four-song soundtrack was released under the Zee Music Company label on 1 April 2016, to critical acclaim and fetched numerous accolades. Sairat notably the first Indian film to record the musical score at the Sony Scoring Stage in California.

Chandramukhi is the soundtrack to the 2022 Marathi film of the same name directed by Prasad Oak starring Amruta Khanvilkar in the titular role alongside Adinath Kothare and Mrunmayee Deshpande. The film's musical score and six-song soundtrack is composed by Ajay–Atul with lyrics written by Guru Thakur. With four songs preceded the album, the soundtrack to the film released on 28 April 2022 through Everest Entertainment, to positive response from critics and audience and received numerous accolades. The songs "Chandra" and "Bai Ga" were chartbusters.

The 14th Maharashtracha Favourite Kon? Awards ceremony, presented by the Marathi television channel Zee Talkies, honored the best Marathi-language Indian films of 2023. The ceremony was held on 18 January 2024, and was hosted by Amey Wagh and Mahesh Manjrekar. The year also introduced Critics choice awards in six categories.

"Yad Lagla" was remade in Hindi as "Pehli Baar" for the Sairat's Hindi remake Dhadak, starred Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor. The Times of India included song in their list of Top 10 Marathi romantic songs.
