The Finland cricket team toured Denmark to play a two-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series in July 2019. [1] [2] These were the first ever matches played by Finland to have T20I status after the International Cricket Council announced that all matches played between Associate Members after 1 January 2019 would have full T20I status. [3] The venue for both matches was Svanholm Park in Brøndby, these being the first T20I matches to be played in Denmark. [4] Denmark won the series 2–0.

The 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of qualification process for the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup. The 2019 Thailand Women's T20 Smash was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament held in Bangkok, Thailand from 12 to 19 January 2019. The participants were the women's national sides of Thailand, Bhutan, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal and United Arab Emirates, as well as a Thailand A side. Matches were recognised as official T20I games as per the International Cricket Council's announcement that full T20I status would apply to all the matches played between women's teams of associate members after 1 July 2018. The matches were played at the Asian Institute of Technology Ground and the Terdthai Cricket Ground, both in Bangkok. Thailand won the tournament after winning all of their matches.

The 2022 ACA Africa T20 Cup was a cricket tournament played in Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa. The finals tournament were originally scheduled to be held in September 2019, but were moved to March 2020, with the original host city being Nairobi, Kenya. On 9 March 2020, the tournament was postponed again due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in line with the Kenyan government's 30-day ban on international gatherings. The 2019 Hellenic Premier League (HPL) was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament held in Gouvia, Corfu, Greece between 14 and 19 October 2019. The 2019 T20 Kwacha Cup was a men's Twenty20 International/women's Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket event between the men's and women's national cricket teams of Malawi and Mozambique. The 2022 T20I Nordic Cup was a cricket tournament played in Denmark from 7 to 8 May 2022, in the form of a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) bilateral series between the men's national teams of Denmark and Finland. Two games between Denmark and Finland 'A' teams were also included in the tour, scheduled before and after the T20I series. The venue for all of the matches was Svanholm Park in Brøndby. The event provided both teams with preparation for the 2022–23 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier subregional tournaments. Finland won the first T20I by three wickets, but Denmark then went on to win the next two matches to win the series 2–1.

The 2022 Women's T20I Nordic Cup was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that was held in Kolsva, Sweden, from 27 to 29 May 2022. The participants were the hosts Sweden, along with Denmark and Norway- with Denmark playing their first official women's T20I matches. On the penultimate day of the tournament, Sweden won the Nordic Cup, after they beat Denmark by 71 runs and Norway won their match, also against Denmark, by 34 runs.

The 2022–23 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament, which was played as part of qualification process for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

The 2023 T20I Nordic Cup was a men's Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that was played in Denmark in May 2023. The quadrangular tournament was contested by Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. Denmark's last two fixtures were played as non-T20I matches.
