Florian Floto (born 12 April 1988) is a German male recurve archer from Braunschweig and part of the German national team. [2] [3]
He has competed internationally since the 2008 European Indoor Championships in Turin. There, he finished in 6th place individually and won the silver medal with the German team. [1] In 2010, Floto won Gold with the German team at the European Championships in Rovereto, in the individual competition he finished in fourth place. [2]
He won the gold medal at the 2016 World Indoor Archery Championships in the men's team event [4] and represented Germany at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro where he finished in 9th place. [5] [6] In Rio, Floto lost 4–6 in the round of 16 against eventual gold medalist Ku Bon-chan. [7]
Floto represents the Braunschweig-based Schützenverein Querum in domestic competitions, and has won several German championship titles with the club, both in individual and team events. He is an electrician by profession. [2]
Mauro Nespoli is an Italian archer who was a member of the Italian teams that won gold at the 2012 Summer Olympics and silver at the 2008 Summer Olympics. and individual silver at Tokyo 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.

Malte Jakschik is a German former representative rower. He was a three time world champion, a two time Olympic silver medallist and held a seat in the German senior men's eight — the Deutschlandachter — constantly from 2014 to 2021. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, he rowed in Germany's men's eight which won the silver medal. He rowed at six when the Deutschlandachter at the 2017 World Rowing Cup II set a world's best time of 5.18.68, which was still the standing world mark as of 2021. He rowed in the German men's eight at Tokyo 2021 and won a second Olympic silver medal.

Patrick Huston is a British two-time Olympian archer from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He captured three world championship titles under the youth level, and eventually competed as a member of the two person archery squad of Team GB at the 2016 Summer Olympics, in Rio, losing the first round match to the eventual champion Ku Bon-chan of South Korea. In the Tokyo 2020 Olympics his best result was a men's team 5th. Huston currently lives near Lilleshall National Sporting Centre and trained full-time under senior national coach Richard Priestman for Archery UK, while remaining a loyal founding member of East Belfast Archery Club. Mete Gazoz is a Turkish recurve archer. He won the gold medal in the men's individual event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. He also represented Turkey at the 2016 Summer Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In the 2023 World Archery Championships held in Berlin, Mete Gazoz emerged victorious, claiming the prestigious Individual title. In an intense final, he triumphed over the skilled Canadian archer Eric Peters, securing his place as the first Turkish archer to achieve the esteemed recurve gold medal in a World Championship.

A late beginner in competitive archery, Piippo made his debut on the Finnish national team at the age of 33, and roused a major surprise in his sporting career by booking one of the three individual Olympic places to Rio 2016 at the European Championships in Nottingham, Great Britain. While training full-time at a local archery range in his current residence Oulu, Piippo works as a web applications designer for an information technology firm.
