Chidera Anamege, now known by his stage name Chiddy Bang, is an American rapper from Philadelphia. Prior to its breakup, Chiddy Bang was an American hip hop duo consisting of Anamege, under the stage name Chiddy, and Noah Beresin, under the stage name Xaphoon Jones. The duo was introduced by former band member Zachary Sewall in late 2008 while the two were studying at Drexel University, in Beresin's hometown of Philadelphia. Anamege's sound is based on the fusion of hip hop and alternative using samples from artists such as Ellie Goulding, Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens, Passion Pit, MGMT, Matt and Kim and Yelle. In 2013, Beresin left the group to focus on producing, and Anamege became a solo artist, with Beresin playing the role as frequent collaborator.
Doctor P is the stage name of the English dubstep producer and DJ, Shaun Brockhurst. Brockhurst has also produced drum and bass under the aliases Sounds Destructive, Slum Dogz and DJ Picto. Some of his songs, including "Sweet Shop", "Tetris", "Big Boss", "Watch Out" and the remixes of Example's "Last Ones Standing" and Plan B's "Love Goes Down" have all received more than 5 million views on YouTube. He is the co-founder of Circus Records, along with Flux Pavilion, DJ Swan-E and Earl Falconer.

It was released in the United States on July 19, 2011 as a digital download as the lead single from their debut studio album Breakfast. The song takes a sample of "Manners" from the Icona Pop's self-titled debut album. The song did not enter the Billboard Hot 100 but peaked on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart at number 15, as well as reaching number 19 on the Top Heatseekers. The official remix features Gym Class Heroes frontman and rapper Travie McCoy. The single is featured in the soundtrack for the EA Sports video game Madden NFL 12.
Breakfast is the debut studio album by American rap duo Chiddy Bang, released in the United States through I.R.S. Records and Virgin Records on February 21, 2012 and outside the U.S. through Regal Recordings on March 5, 2012. The album includes the singles "Mind Your Manners" and "Ray Charles".
Dillon Hart Francis, also known by his alter ego DJ Hanzel, is an American electronic music producer and DJ. By deejaying and collaborating, Francis helped to popularize the moombahton genre, and in 2012 he adapted it further into moombahcore and EDM trap, giving the music a harder sound, as heard on his extended play (EP), Something, Something, Awesome. (2012). James Hazell, better known by his stage name FuntCase, is an English dubstep and drum and bass producer and DJ, from Bournemouth, England. Hazell first released drum and bass, under the alias DJ Dose in 2007, and in 2009 released his first single under the name FuntCase.
Circus Records is an independent record label founded by Joshua "Flux Pavilion" Steele, Shaun "Doctor P" Brockhurst, Simon Swan and Earl Falconer in 2009. Kanye West and Jay-Z sampled the Flux Pavilion song "I Can't Stop" in "Who Gon Stop Me". Steele's extended play Blow the Roof also charted at number 60 on the UK Albums Chart.
American based electronic dance musicians the Knocks have released three studio albums, six EPs and thirty-five singles. The duo began their career as remixers in the city of New York, United States, eventually signing to their first ever major record label. Their 2010 single "Dancing with the DJ" was their first instant online success. Philadelphia hip hop band Chiddy Bang sampled the Knocks' "Blackout" for their single "Here We Go" from their EP The Preview. Chiddy Bang subsequently sampled the Knocks' "When You've Got Music" and "Dancing with the DJ" for their mixtape Peanut Butter and Swelly. After the success of "Dancing with the DJ", their debut extended play, entitled Magic was released in 2011.
Tyler Marenyi, better known by his stage name Nghtmre, is an American DJ and electronic dance music producer from Raleigh, North Carolina.
EDM trap is a fusion genre of hip hop, rave music and EDM, that originated in the early 2010s on peaking popularity of big room house and hip hop trap genres. It blends elements of hip hop trap, which is an offshoot of Southern hip hop, with elements of EDM like build-ups, drops, dense production with rave music synthesizers, and breakdowns. As it was popularized, it increasingly began incorporating more pop elements.
