Fobello is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vercelli in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) northeast of Turin and about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Vercelli. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 246 and an area of 29.3 square kilometres (11.3 sq mi). [1]

The famous automotive engineers Vincenzo Lancia (1881–1937) and his son Gianni Lancia (1924–2014) were from Fobello.
Vincenzo Lancia was an Italian pilot, engineer and founder of Lancia.
Gianni Lancia was an Italian automobile engineer, industrialist and racing enthusiast, known for running the Lancia carmaker in Torino (1949–55). Born in Fobello, he was the older son of Vincenzo Lancia and Adele Miglietti, and brother of Anna Maria and Eleonora.
