Football Queensland Metro is a Football Queensland administrative zone encompassing the greater Brisbane area in Queensland, Australia, with surrounding areas including Caboolture, Ipswich, Redland City and Logan City. The premier men's football competition is the Football Queensland Premier League – Metro and the premier women's football competition is the Football Queensland Women's Premier League 3 − Metro. The administrative zone also has a numerous variety of lower divisions for both men and women, as well as academy and junior competitions to develop football (soccer) and fitness within the region. The administrative zone also encompasses teams competing in state competitions, along with Brisbane Roar and Brisbane Roar Women − Queensland's only teams participating in A-League Men and A-League Women. [2] The zone is often divided into northern and southern sections for academy and junior competitions for ease of travel and other expenses.

The zone was renamed in 2021 from its predecessor − Football Brisbane − which was formed in 2007 with the amalgamation of a variety of Football associations. [3] These being Brisbane Men's Football, Brisbane Women's Soccer Association, Brisbane North & Districts Junior Soccer Association Brisbane Southern Districts Junior Soccer Association and Soccer Australia Referees (Brisbane). Prior to the establishment of Football Queensland in 2007, Football in Brisbane acted as the highest level of football (soccer) in the state. Football Queensland Metro is descended from the Anglo-Queensland Football Association, formed in May 1884. [4]

The Football Queensland Premier League − Metro competition is the fourth tier in the Football Queensland pyramid and the fifth tier in the Australian pyramid. Each respective competition has its own reserve league primarily for senior academy players. [1]

The club has a tradition of playing attractive, attacking soccer and, with 90 teams in junior and senior football in 2017, it is one of the largest clubs in both Brisbane and Queensland.

Westside Grovely FC is a football (soccer) club based in the locality of Grovely, Queensland, Australia. The 2016 Football Queensland season was the fourth season since NPL Queensland commenced as the top tier of Queensland men’s football. Below NPL Queensland is a regional structure of ten zones with their own leagues. The strongest of the zones is Football Brisbane with its senior men’s competition consisting of five divisions.

North Brisbane FC is an Australian football (soccer) club from Lutwyche, an inner northern suburb of Brisbane. The club was formed in 1957 as the Polonia Soccer Club. The club was reborn under club president Kerry Harmon, Treasurer Greg Vitulano and secretary Paul Brown in 2015 and it competes in Capital League 2, rejoining the Football Brisbane league structure in 2015. In recent years, the club has formed alliances with both Newfarm Punjabi Sports Club and the Queensland University of Technology Football Club."NBFC" as it is affectionately known will undergo a ground refit in late 2019 consisting of a new playing surface, fencing and extra change room for players. Men's Capital League 4 was dissolved and the club competed in League 3 in 2017 and was promoted. In 2018 the club expanded its Men's City League teams to 3 and had some lower grade success with the City League 7 team performing well and reaching the grand final under super coach Carlo Borzellega and "man manager" Chris Tully's guidance in 2018 and 2019. The Women's City League 4 side also had success reaching the 2019 grand final.

The Football Queensland Premier League is a men's soccer league contested by clubs in Queensland, Australia that consists of two divisions; FQPL 1 and FQPL 2. It is administered by Football Queensland and runs as the second and third tiers of football in Queensland, operated by a system of promotion and relegation. The league is contested by 12 clubs in each division each season, the team that finishes at the top of the league is crowned premiers and they are promoted to the Queensland National Premier League for Division 1 clubs, whilst the bottom three teams are relegated to Division 2. The teams that finish in the top four qualify for a finals tournament, where the winners of the bracket are crowned FQPL champions.

Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex is a sports field complex in Burpengary, a suburb of the City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia, primarily for both Australian rules football and soccer. It was built and opened in 2013 and are managed by Caboolture Sports Football Club, Moreton Bay Australian Football Club and AFL Queensland's Northern Brisbane Academy Programs. It is the home ground for Caboolture Sports Football Club, playing within Football Queensland competitions, and also the home ground for Moreton Bay in the Queensland Football Association Northern Conference. It was the primary home ground for the Brisbane Lions AFL Women's team from 2019 until the completion of Springfield Central Stadium in 2022.

The 2019 Football Queensland season was the seventh season since NPL Queensland commenced as the top tier of Queensland men’s football. This season was also the second season of the Football Queensland Premier League which occupied the second tier in Queensland men’s football in 2019.

Central Coast Football is a governing body and football (soccer) competition located in the Central Coast region of New South Wales. Its administrative headquarters are based at Pluim Park, Lisarow, New South Wales. The association consists of a Premier League, a Division 1 and ten all ages competitions which correspond to tiers five to seventeen on the Australian soccer pyramid. Clubs are based all across the Central Coast.
