The 1983 Lliga Catalana de Bàsquet was the fourth edition of the Catalan Basketball League. A certain disinterest was detected both in the fans and in the clubs as far as the competition was concerned, as it began to make it difficult to agree with pre-season preparation matches. Anastasio Bienzobas Ocáriz, also known as Cuqui Bienzobas was a Spanish footballer in the 1930s and 1940s, in which he played for Real Sociedad, Club Atlético Osasuna and Deportivo de la Coruña. He played in the midfield position. He was known by his nickname, Cuqui, to distinguish him from his brothers Custodio and Paco, soccer players with whom he met at Real Sociedad and Osasuna.
