The 1992 AFC Asian Cup was the 10th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The finals were held in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan between 29 October and 8 November 1992. The host nation, Japan, defeated the defending champion Saudi Arabia in the final in Hiroshima.

The organizers also used few other college stadiums for the preliminary rounds, Temasek Polytechnic, Meridian Junior College, Victoria Junior College and Jurong Junior College. Age limit for the teams was under-14. South Korea won the gold medal after beating North Korea 2–0 in the final.

Futsal at the 2009 Asian Indoor Games was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 28 October to 7 November. All the women's events were in Tân Bình Gymnasium and the men's were in Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium.
