Arena BRB Mané Garrincha, formerly Estádio Nacional de Brasília Mané Garrincha, also known as Estádio Nacional Mané Garrincha, Estádio Nacional de Brasília, or simply Mané Garrincha, is a football stadium and multipurpose arena, located in Brasília, in the Distrito Federal. The knockout stage of the women's football tournament at the 2016 Summer Olympics was played from 12 to 19 August 2016. The top two teams from each group in the group stage and the two best third-placed teams qualified for the knockout stage.

The 2016–17 season was the 107th season of competitive football in Germany.

Algeria have appeared in the finals of the Summer Olympics Football Tournament on two occasions in 1980 with the Algeria first team and in 2016 with Algeria U23 after opening olympic football tournament to U23 national teams since 1992. They have once qualified for the knockout rounds, reaching the quarter-finals in 1980 before losing to Yugoslavia.

The 2021 Copa Libertadores final stages were played from 13 July to 27 November 2021. A total of 16 teams competed in the final stages to decide the champions of the 2021 Copa Libertadores, with the final played in Montevideo, Uruguay at Estadio Centenario.
