Mario Rodolfo Gayraud, is a retired Argentine racing driver. He won the TC2000 championship in 1984. He is nationally recognized for his participation in the Turismo Carretera, Turismo Nacional and TC 2000 categories. In the latter he obtained his only championship title, being a driver for the official Ford team and winning the first title of the brand and the only one owned by the Ford Taunus model. In turn, he also obtained three runners-up in 1983 with the Taunus and in 1985 and 1986 with the Ford Sierra model. In Turismo Carretera, he competed from 1991 to 1998 mainly with a Ford Falcon, except for 1994, which was the only year in which he competed with a Chevrolet Chevy. After this, he had retired temporarily, returning in 2006 in the National Tourism, aboard a Peugeot 306. Finally, Gayraud would retire in 2007, aboard a Chevrolet Astra of the Class 3 of the TN.

Francisco César Espinosa was an Argentine racing driver. He competed in Turismo Carretera intermittently between 1971 and 1990, winning the championship in the 1979/80 season. Likewise, he became the first TC champion driving a Chevrolet Chevy and the first to do so under the self-regency imposed by the Asociación Corredores de Turismo Carretera, in response to the conflict between the Argentine Automobile Club and the Argentine Confederation of Sports Motoring. During his foray into the TC, he used the IKA Torino, Chevrolet Chevy and Ford Falcon, a car model that he would use due to disagreements with the team with which he obtained his championship. He retired from the TC on 16 December 1990 in Tandil.

TC Pista Mouras is a stock car racing series in Argentina, created in 2008. This series is the lower division of the promotion ladder of the Asociación Corredores de Turismo Carretera and was created at the expense of the TC Mouras division. The objective of the mother entity of Turismo Carretera with the creation of this new division is the training of young people and new competitors who wish to race in the first division, being admitted young drivers from karts, monoposts or zone categories. Admission to the category is not only open to young pilots, since those pilots who have gathered high experience in zonal categories, or in senior categories at the national level, can also participate.

The Baufer-Ford or Steven-Ford was a racing prototype designed and manufactured in Argentina by the defunct Baufer bodybuilder, and serviced by the preparer Horacio Steven to compete in Turismo Carretera. This prototype was created at the request of the official Ford Motor Argentina team, to face the IKA-Renault Torino, which the successful preparer Oreste Berta had presented in 1966, making the official IKA team debut. Ford's objective was to fight and hunt these cars prepared in Alta Gracia, in order to recover the leadership lost in 1966. With the regulatory change of 1967, which allowed the creation of racing prototypes at the pleasure and convenience of the preparers, the prototype devised had V8 engines from Ford F-100 trucks and was mounted on the chassis of a Ford T. This car was indistinctly known as Baufer-Ford for its creator body, or as Steven-Ford, for its preparer.
