Frank C. Zummo [2] (born July 2, 1978) [3] [4] is an American musician, best known as the drummer for rock bands Sum 41 [5] [6] and Street Drum Corps. [7]

Career

Zummo is one of the founding members of Street Drum Corps. He has performed as the drummer for several other bands, both as a full-time member and session member. including Thenewno2, theStart, Dead By Sunrise, Virgin Steele and Krewella. [8] [9] In August 2009, Zummo filled in for Tommy Lee for a string of Mötley Crüe shows. [10] In January 2011, he became the new drummer for the band Julien-K.

Zummo joined Sum 41 in 2015, following the departure of original drummer and founding member Steve Jocz in 2013. [11] Zummo has recorded three studio albums with Sum 41, 2016's 13 Voices , 2019's Order in Decline , and 2024's Heaven :x: Hell . He has performed drum sets and DJ sets several times at Emo Nite in Los Angeles. [12]

<i>New Tattoo</i> 2000 studio album by Mötley Crüe

New Tattoo is the eighth studio album by the American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, released in 2000. Artistically, New Tattoo shows the band returning to the earlier musical style that gave them commercial success in the 1980s and early 1990s. This is the only album by the band not to feature drummer Tommy Lee, who left the band a year before, and was replaced by former Ozzy Osbourne drummer Randy Castillo on the album. The album also marked Castillo’s final full-length studio recording project that he was involved in before his death in March 2002.

The group achieved commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with its first two albums Skid Row (1989) and Slave to the Grind (1991) certified multi-platinum, the latter of which reached number one on the Billboard 200. Brides of Destruction was an American hard rock supergroup from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2002. The band's last lineup consisted of singer London LeGrand (vocals), Tracii Guns and Scot Coogan. Previous members of the band were Nikki Sixx (bass), Kris Kohls (drums), Adam Hamilton (keyboard), John Corabi, Scott Sorry (bass) and Ginger.

Thomas "Tom" William Arnold Thacker, nicknamed Brown Tom, is a Canadian musician, songwriter, and producer. He is the lead guitarist, lead singer and co-founder of the Canadian punk rock group Gob, and rhythm guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist for Sum 41. Thacker formed Gob with Theo Goutzinakis in 1993. Following Dave Baksh's departure from Sum 41 on May 11, 2006, Thacker was recruited as their touring guitarist, and then became an official member in 2009. He has remained with Sum 41 ever since, even after Baksh rejoined the band in 2015, contributing to four studio releases.

The Monster World Tour was a concert tour by the American hard rock group Kiss in support of their 20th studio album, Monster. Fresh off the heels of the recent success of The Tour with Mötley Crüe and the second annual KISS Kruise, the tour officially began on November 7, 2012, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Kiss played shows in Australia for the first time since 2008, and Europe, including a few festivals in June. They played their longest Canadian tour to date in July through early August with a few US concerts following after, including a show taped to air during halftime of ArenaBowl XXVI in Orlando, Florida. They played in Japan for the first time since 2006 in October 2013.

The Final Tour was a concert tour by heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. At the time, it had been announced as the band's final tour before their initial hiatus from 2016 until their announced comeback reunion in 2019. Alice Cooper was announced as the opening act for the tour. The first leg of the tour began on July 2, 2014 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and concluded on November 22, 2014 in Spokane, Washington. The band further announced more dates for the second and final leg of the tour, which started February 11, 2015 in Kobe, Japan, and ended with three concerts at Staples Center in the band's hometown of Los Angeles on December 28, 30 and 31, 2015. The Tour was kicked off by a drum solo by Producer Joe of the FreeBeer & Hotwings show.

<i>13 Voices</i> 2016 studio album by Sum 41

13 Voices is the sixth studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41, released on October 7, 2016. It is the first of two albums by the band to be released through independent label Hopeless Records. It is also Sum 41's first album to feature drummer Frank Zummo, who replaced original drummer Steve Jocz, and their first album to feature guitarist Tom Thacker. The album also features the return of longtime lead guitarist Dave "Brownsound" Baksh. The album is also their first as a five-piece band. On May 11, 2016, the band announced that they had signed to Hopeless Records to release the crowd-funded project.

"Fake My Own Death" is the lead single from Sum 41's sixth studio album 13 Voices, which was released on October 7, 2016. The song was the third track on the album. The song was released on June 28, 2016, along with an accompanying music video, through Hopeless Records' official YouTube channel.

Heaven :x: Hell is the eighth and final studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41, released on March 29, 2024, through Rise Records. A double album, Heaven :x: Hell is divided into two discs; the first disc Heaven features a return to the pop-punk style of the band's early career, while the second disc Hell is a continuation of the band's more recent heavy metal style. It is their only release on Rise, having departed from independent label Hopeless Records in 2023.
