Fred R. Sloan is a retired Major General in the United States Air National Guard and former Director of Air National Guard Forces and Air National Guard Assistant to the Commander of Air Combat Command, as well as Assistant Adjutant General of Wisconsin for the Air.

Biography

Sloan was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from Marquette University High School in 1966. [1] He would graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1970 with a B.A. in Psychology.

Career

Sloan joined the Wisconsin Air National Guard in 1971 and entered pilot training at Laughlin Air Force Base. He would acquire more than 6,000 hours flying in a Convair C-131 Samaritan, Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star, Cessna T-37 Tweet, Northrop T-38 Talon, Convair F-102 Delta Dagger, Cessna O-2 Skymaster, Cessna A-37 Dragonfly, Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II, and General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon. Awards he has received include the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Achievement Medal, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with three oak leaf clusters, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal with hourglass device, the National Defense Service Medal, the Small Arms Marksmanship Ribbon with service star, and the Air Force Training Ribbon.

Antonio J. Vicens Adjuntant General of the Puerto Rico National Guard

Antonio J. Vicens-Gonzalez was the 18th Adjutant General of the Puerto Rico National Guard from January 2, 2009 to December 2012. The Adjutant General is the Commander of the Puerto Rico National Guard. As the Adjutant General he was also the Senior Military Advisor to the Governor of Puerto Rico and oversees both State and Federal Missions of the PR National Guard. He provides effective leadership and management in the implementation of all programs and policies affecting more than 10,500 citizen-soldiers and airmen, and civilian employees of the three components of the PR National Guard: Army National Guard, Air National Guard and Puerto Rico State Guard. MG Vicens holds a B.B.A-Management Degree from the University of Puerto Rico.

Donald P. Dunbar

Major General Donald P. Dunbar is Wisconsin's former Adjutant General. He commanded the Wisconsin National Guard and is in the United States Air National Guard. Dunbar was responsible for Emergency Management in the state. He also served as Wisconsin's Homeland Security Advisor, chairs the Homeland Security Council, and served as the senior state official for cyber matters. Dunbar also served on the executive committees of the Governor's Homeland Security Advisors Council (GHSAC) and the Adjutants General Association of the United States (AGAUS), and is a member of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) National Advisory Council. With the retirement of Major General Thaddeus J. Martin of the Connecticut National Guard on June 30, 2018, General Dunbar became the longest serving Adjutant General in the United States. At the request of Governor Tony Evers, Dunbar resigned his post in the Wisconsin National Guard on December 9, 2019, for intentionally ignoring orders requiring outside investigations into claims of sexual assault and harassment as required by state and federal law and U.S. Department of Defense regulations.

John E. McCoy is a major General in the United States National Guard and is the Air National Guard Assistant to the Commander of Air Education and Training Command.

Scott D. Legwold was a brigadier general in the National Guard of the United States and Director of the Joint Staff of the Wisconsin Army and Air National Guard.

He has acquired more than 3,800 hours flying in a Cessna T-37 Tweet, Northrop T-38 Talon, Cessna O-2 Skymaster, Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II, and General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon. As a civilian he pilots a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 for FedEx Express.

Harold J. Nevin is a retired Brigadier General in the National Guard of the United States and former Assistant Adjutant General for Readiness and Training of the Wisconsin Army National Guard.

Gerald C. Olesen is a retired Brigadier General in the United States Air National Guard and former Assistant Adjutant General of Wisconsin for the Air.

Paul Thomas Ott is a retired Brigadier General in the National Guard of the United States and former commander of the 32nd Infantry Division of the Wisconsin Army National Guard.
