Valley Children's Stadium, also known as Jim Sweeney Field at Bulldog Stadium, is an outdoor college football stadium in the western United States, located on the campus of California State University, Fresno in Fresno, California. It is the home field of the Fresno State Bulldogs, who play in the Mountain West Conference.
Lawrence Patrick Hill is an American football coach, former player, and broadcaster. He served as the head football coach at Fresno State from 1997 until his dismissal following the 2011 season. In 15 seasons as head coach as Fresno State, he led the Bulldogs to a record of 112–80, 11 bowl game appearances, and a share of the 1999 Western Athletic Conference title.

Kim Ly Maher is a Vietnamese-American, former collegiate All-American, Olympic champion, right-handed softball player and current Head Coach originally from Fresno, California. She competed in college for the Fresno State Bulldogs in both the Big West and Western Athletic Conference from 1991-94, ranking in the latter for career batting average (.401) for her last two years and leading them in two semifinal finishes at the 1991 and 1992 Women's College World Series, being named All-Tournament for both events. Maher won gold at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics with Team USA. Maher is head of the SWOSU Bulldogs softball team.
Carol Sue Hutchins is an American former softball coach. In 38 years as the head coach of Michigan Wolverines softball, (1985–2022), she won more games than more than any other coach in University of Michigan history in any sport, male or female with 1,684 wins. Hutchins had a career record of 1,707 wins, 551 losses, and five ties, for a .759 winning percentage. She led the Wolverines to their first NCAA softball championship in 2005.
Marjorie Ann Wright is a former college softball coach. She was the head softball coach at California State University, Fresno—more commonly known as Fresno State—from 1986 to 2012. She led the Fresno State Bulldogs to the NCAA national softball championship in 1998 and is the NCAA's second all-time winningest softball coach. She also ranks second all-time in career victories among NCAA Division I coaches in all sports. She was inducted into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2000 and the International Women's Sports Hall of Fame in 2001. She retired at the end of the 2012 season.
Kalen Douglas DeBoer is an American football coach who is the head football coach at the University of Alabama. DeBoer was the head football coach at the University of Sioux Falls from 2005 to 2009, California State University, Fresno from 2020 to 2021, and the University of Washington from 2022 to 2023. At Sioux Falls, his teams won three NAIA Football National Championships, in 2006, 2008, and 2009.

Trisha Lynn Ford is an American college softball coach. She is the head softball coach at the Texas A&M University, a position she has held since the 2023 season. Ford served as the head softball coach at Saint Mary's College of California from 2002 to 2003, California State University, Fresno from 2013 to 2016, and Arizona State University from 2017 to 2022.
The 2019 NCAA Division I Softball season, play of college softball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began February 7, 2019. The season will progress through the regular season, many conference tournaments and championship series, and will conclude with the 2019 NCAA Division I softball tournament and 2019 Women's College World Series. The Women's College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament will be held annually in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium, will end in June 2019.
KeeSean Johnson is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. He played college football at Fresno State and is the program's all-time leader in receiving yards and receptions. Johnson was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Xeana Kamalani Dung, also known as "Kama Dung", is an American, right-handed softball pitcher, model, actress, and philanthropist from Waianae, Hawaii. She is a gold medalist and is known as the first professional softball pitcher from Hawaii. Dung is currently a professional softball player who pitches on the Puerto Rican national softball team and in the Athletes Unlimited Softball league. She has competed in a number of international tournaments and has gained a large following as an international and collegiate athlete. Dung was the former starting pitcher for the Fresno State Bulldogs and California Golden Bears.
Margie Wright Diamond is a college softball stadium located on the campus of California State University, Fresno. It is the home field of the Fresno State Bulldogs softball team. The venue is named for legendary Bulldogs coach Margie Wright, who led Fresno State to 1,294 wins, eight Women's College World Series appearances and the 1998 Women's College World Series championship. She retired as college softball's all-time wins leader.
Dylan Ryan Lee is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball for Fresno State. He was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the 10th round of the 2016 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2021 and started the fourth game of the 2021 World Series for the Atlanta Braves.

They competed in the Western Athletic Conference, where they finished first with a 28–2 record.
