Frost is a city in Navarro County, Texas, United States. The population was 643 at the 2010 census.

The county is named for George Washington Hill, secretary of war and secretary of the navy under the Republic of Texas. Hill County is part of Central Texas, though not included in Texas Hill Country.

Frost ISD has two campuses - Frost High (Grades 7-12) and Frost Elementary (Grades PK-6). The school mascot (appropriate for the school name) is the Polar Bear.

In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. [1]
