EXID is a South Korean girl group formed in 2012. The group consists of five members: Solji, Elly, Hani, Hyelin, and Jeonghwa. EXID debuted in February 2012, with the single "Whoz That Girl". Though the album gained some attention, it was not until 2014 that the group unexpectedly gained popularity with the single "Up & Down", which reached number one on the Gaon Singles Chart four months after release due to a fan-recording of a live performance becoming a viral video.

Heo Sol-ji, known mononymously as Solji, is a South Korean singer. She was a member of the ballad duo group 2NB from 2006 to 2010. She later became a vocal trainer before joining EXID in July 2012 as the leader and main vocalist.

The EP consists of four songs, including their previous collaboration with producing and writing team, Devine Channel, with the addition of a new song, "Mysterious", the title track from the EP. To promote the EP, Hello Venus performed "Mysterious" on South Korean music programs, including Music Bank and Inkigayo. A music video for the title track was also released on January 11. This marks their last release before their disbandment in 2019.
Crystyle is the fifth Korean extended play recorded by South Korean girl group CLC. It was released on January 17, 2017, by Cube Entertainment and distributed by CJ E&M. "Hobgoblin" was released as the lead single. To promote the EP, the group performed on several South Korean music programs, including Music Bank and Inkigayo. A music video for the title track, was also released on January 17.
Eclipse is the third extended play by South Korean girl group EXID. It was released by Banana Culture and distributed by Sony Music on April 10, 2017. The album contains six tracks including the lead single "Night Rather Than Day". The album was promoted by EXID as a 4-member group, since main vocalist Solji was recovering from hyperthyroidism with which she was diagnosed in December 2016.
