Third Eye Blind is an American rock band formed in San Francisco, California, in 1993. The songwriting duo of Stephan Jenkins and Kevin Cadogan signed the band's first major-label recording contract with Elektra Records in 1996, which was later reported as the largest publishing deal ever for an unsigned artist. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1997, with the band largely consisting of Jenkins, Cadogan, Arion Salazar, and Brad Hargreaves (drums). Shortly after the release of the band's second album in 1999, Blue, with the same line-up, Cadogan was released from the band under controversial circumstances.
Demolition Plot J-7 is the second extended play by American indie rock band Pavement, released in 1990. The EP was the band's first release on Chicago independent label Drag City, and its first release that was not self-issued. Demolition Plot J-7 shared many of the same indie and punk rock influences of Pavement's 1989 debut Slay Tracks: 1933–1969, but also diversified the group's sound by incorporating keyboards.

Juliette and The Licks is an American rock band led by actress and singer Juliette Lewis. Other band members have included guitarist Craig Fairbaugh and guitarist Emilio Cueto, bassist Jason Womack and drummer Ed Davis. Their popular songs include "You're Speaking My Language" and "Hot Kiss". The band broke up in 2009. They reunited for a Los Angeles show in 2015, followed by extensive touring in 2016. In June of 2016, Juliette Lewis announced a solo tour leaving the future of The Licks undetermined. In May 2018 members of the band tweeted that they were in the studio working on new music as Juliette And The Licks.

Los Campesinos! are a seven-piece indie pop band from Cardiff, Wales, formed in early 2006 at Cardiff University. Though the band formed in Wales, none of the members are Welsh. The band has gone through several lineup changes during their career, with their current lineup consisting of Gareth David, Neil Beale (guitar), Tom Bromley (guitar), Rob Taylor, Kim David, Matt Fidler (bass) and Jason Adelinia (drums); the members replace their surnames with "Campesinos" as stage names. David, Beale and Bromley are the only remaining original members still in the band.
Cage the Elephant is an American rock band from Bowling Green, Kentucky, that formed in 2006. They relocated to London, England in 2008 before their first album was released. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Matt Shultz, rhythm guitarist Brad Shultz, lead guitarist Nick Bockrath, guitarist and keyboardist Matthan Minster, bassist Daniel Tichenor, and drummer Jared Champion. Lincoln Parish served as the band's lead guitarist from their formation in 2006 until December 2013, when he left on good terms to pursue a career in producing. The band's first album, Cage the Elephant, was released in 2008 to much success, spawning several successful radio singles and gained the band a large following in both the United States and the United Kingdom. It was influenced by classic rock, funk, and blues music.

The band took its name from a series of sculptures composed by their original drummer, Adam Caldwell, which were called “The Little Heroes.”

We wanted to capture the sentiment of each song, and whatever emotional response it provoked, to be really honest to that."

Lizzo co-wrote each song on the album, while enlisting Ricky Reed, Christian Rich, Dubbel Dutch, and Jesse Shatkin for the album's production. The result was a departure from Lizzo's previous hip hop releases. Lyrically, the extended play explores themes of body positivity, self-love, and the journey to those ideals. Coconut Oil received positive reviews from music critics.

Unpeeled is the second live album by American rock band Cage the Elephant. The album was released on July 28, 2017, and features the single "Whole Wide World". The album was recorded on tour and features acoustic versions of the group's best-known songs, with the six principal musicians backed by strings and a choir on many of the songs. Three of the tracks are cover versions, including the lead single.
Donald Bradley "Brad" Shultz Jr. is the rhythm guitarist and one of the founding members of the band Cage the Elephant, and is also a record producer. Born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, he now resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife and two children. He is the older brother to current Cage the Elephant bandmate, Matt Shultz.
Social Cues is the fifth studio album by American rock band Cage the Elephant. Announced on January 31, 2019, the album was released on April 19, 2019. Social Cues won the award for Best Rock Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.
