Future Minds Organised by the Junior Old Boys association of Nalanda College Colomboin collaboration with Government of Sri Lanka is an annual three-day Educational and Career Guidance Exhibition in Sri Lanka held annually at BMICH, Colombo. Kandy City Centre and Galle Municipal Council host secondary exhibitions for the same following the primary one in Colombo.
This exhibition is patronaged by the Office of the President of Sri Lanka and is endorsed by the Ministries of Education, Vocational & Technical Training, Mass Media & Information and Posts and Telecommunication.
Initially started as a job bank and career guidance program for senior students of Nalanda College Colombo in early 2000. Lately in 2006 expanded and was named Future Minds inaugurated with the Motto of No one is left behind.
Its main aim was to provide a one stop stage for Students in Sri Lanka to meet with Higher Educational and Tertiary Educational Institutes (Government and Private) and make educated choices about their Career Development. There by aiding them to become part of a highly skilled National Workforce for Sri Lanka's Economic and Social development.
Students from universities in Australia, United Kingdom, USA, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Russia, China and India too participate in the exhibition annually.
Percy Mahinda Rajapaksa, commonly known as Mahinda Rajapaksa, is the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka and Minister of Finance since 2019. He previously served as the Prime Minister from 2004 to 2005 and as the President of Sri Lanka from 2005 to 2015. Rajapaksa was the Leader of the Opposition from 2002 to 2004, then again from 2018 to 2019. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kurunegala since the 2015 parliamentary elections.

International Conference on Advances in ICT for Emerging Regions (ICTer) is the successor to the seminal International Information Technology Conference (IITC) held in Sri Lanka since 1998. It provides a platform where research done in ICT is presented by both local and foreign Computer Scientists and IT Professionals. In order to get wider international participation and to promote computing research in the fast emerging regions of the world especially in Asia-Pacific, it was decided to broadbase the IITC conference and link it with the related International Journal ICTer (www.icter.org).
Air Chief Marshal Sumangala Dias RWP, RSP, VSV, USP, MSc, ndc, psc is a senior Sri Lankan Air Force Officer and the 17th Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force He retired from his position as the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force on 2 November 2020 and was replaced by Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana.
