Futuridium EP Deluxe is an indie shoot'em up video game developed by Italian developer MixedBag [1] for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Microsoft Windows, OS X and Linux. It was released in North America on September 30, 2014 [2] and on October 1, 2014 in Europe. [3]

The design of the game was influenced by the Commodore 64 title Uridium and the Star Fox series. [4]

Reception

Futuridium EP Deluxe was received mixed to positive reviews upon release. The PlayStation Vita version holds a 75% rating on review aggregator GameRankings, [5] while the PlayStation 4 version has a 70% rating. [6] On Metacritic, the PlayStation 4 and Vita versions hold scores of 74/100 and 65/100 respectively. [8] [10] IGN gave both versions an 8/10. [11]

Release

On March 3, 2016, it was announced that Futuridium EP Deluxe would be releasing on both the New Nintendo 3DS and Wii U platforms within the year. [13] On March 4, 2016, developer MixedBag [14] revealed that Futuridium EP Deluxe would receive a limited physical release of just 4,000 copies through Limited Run Games between both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. [13]

The game was released on iOS, Windows, and Nintendo 3DS on October 30, 2014. It was released for the PlayStation Vita on January 6, 2015. A PlayStation 4 version was released on March 31, 2015. Said PS4 version of Woah Dave! was released with two new levels, six new characters, boss battles, new enemy types, UFOs players can hitch a ride on, other hidden Easter eggs and the ability to play the original version of the game. Kick & Fennick is a platform video game developed and published by Dutch indie studio Jaywalkers Interactive for PlayStation Vita. It was released in North America on 3 February 2015 and in Europe the following day. The game was also released free for PlayStation Plus members. On 28 January 2016, Abstraction Games announced on Twitter that they are bringing the game to Nintendo's Wii U. The two companies announced that the game will be released on the PlayStation 4, Wii U, and Xbox One in June 2016.
