Lasse Stefanz, earlier Lasse Stefans, is a country music-inspired dansband, formed in 1967 in Kristianstad, Sweden. The band was popular during the 1980s. The band was formed by Hans Sigfridsson, Lars Sigfridsson and Olle Jönsson. Later members are Christer Ericsson, Anders Pettersson and Gunnar Nilsson. Olle Jönsson is the singer, as well as the ex-drummer. Lasse Stefanz had hits with songs as "Oh, Julie" (1982) and released albums as Peppelinos Bar (1988). 1989-1990, Lasse Stefanz and Christina Lindberg had a Svensktoppen hit with the song De sista ljuva åren. In 1989, Lasse Stefanz was awarded a Grammis for "Dansband of the year".
Orup, is a Swedish pop singer, songwriter and guitarist who enjoyed major success in his native country and Scandinavia in the late 1980s and early 1990s with songs like Jag blir hellre jagad av vargar, Regn hos mig, "M.B.", "Då står pojkarna på rad", "Magaluf", and "Stockholm". Orup has also written several songs for other performers. He wrote the winning song of Melodifestivalen 2004, "Det gör ont" performed by Lena Philipsson. He was one of the judges on X Factor in 2012. Orup also took part in season 5 of Så mycket bättre.

Swedish dansband and pop singer Lotta Engberg won the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1987 in Sweden with this song. The lyrics are about summer. Because of international advertising rules, the song was renamed to "Boogaloo" in the Eurovision Song Contest 1987.

Eva & Adam is a Swedish series of comics and books, started in 1990 by Johan Unenge and Måns Gahrton, primarily themed around romance and relationships. Set in present Sweden at school, the main characters are named after Adam and Eve in the Old Testament. The comic strip was published in Kamratposten between 1990-1993. The first comic album was released in 1993. Apart from comics, there has also been twelve books published, and two TV-series and a movie.
Leif Bloms was a dansband in Växjö in Sweden. scoring chart successes at the Swedish album chart during the mid-late 1970s. On 31 December 1995 the band was disbanded after singing and playing together for almost 40 years. Starting with the 1981 album Håll dig kvar, the band's singer was Mona Gustafsson, who wrote the band's 1992 song Dej ska jag älska all min tid which won the 1992 Hänt song contest in Älvsjö. After the band was disbanded, Mona Gustafsson, Patrik Ahlm and René Saulesco founded another dansband, Mona G:s orkester.
