Telecinco is a Spanish free-to-air television channel operated by Mediaset España. The channel was previously known as Tele 5, because it had first begun its experimental transmissions on 10 March 1989, and a year later, it was officially launched on 3 March, 1990, becoming the fifth of the national terrestrial television channels and the second private channel in Spain. In 1997, Tele 5 was rebranded as Telecinco, dropping the biscione-absent flower logo seen in other Mediaset channel logos.

Striscia la notizia is an Italian satirical television program on the Mediaset-controlled Canale 5. Launched in 1988, it is meant to be a parody of the daily news, which airs right before the program, but Striscia also satirizes government corruption and exposes scams with the help of local reporters who are also comedians. The program is created by Antonio Ricci and is hosted by two major comedians.
Sarabanda was an Italian television show initially proposed as a variety and later as a musical game with prizes, adaption of the TV format Name That Tune, presented by Enrico Papi and broadcast on Italia 1 in the time slot of the access prime time from 8 September 1997 to 20 February 2004. After the first closing was resumed from 14 March to 10 April 2005 with the broadcasting of Super Sarabanda, a tournament among the most representative champions of the game. The program was re-proposed from 8 June to 30 August 2009 on Canale 5 in the pre-ward, presented by Teo Mammucari with Belén Rodríguez. The program is back on air for a third time with three special episodes in prime time on Italia 1 from 13 to 27 June 2017 with the return to the running of Enrico Papi.
Big Red is the mascot of Western Kentucky University's sports teams, the "Hilltoppers" and "Lady Toppers". It is a red, furry blob created by Ralph Carey in 1979. Big Red is meant to symbolize the spirit of WKU students and alumni as well as the sports teams' nickname, the "Hilltoppers," a name chosen because the school's campus sits atop a hill 232 feet above the Barren River flowing through WKU's home city of Bowling Green.
