S'il suffisait d'aimer is the sixteenth studio album by Canadian singer Celine Dion, and her eleventh French-language studio album. It was released by Columbia Records on 7 September 1998. The album was mainly written and produced by French singer-songwriter, Jean-Jacques Goldman. It garnered favorable reviews from music critics and became the second best-selling French-language album of all time, after Dion's own D'eux (1995). It includes three hit singles: "Zora sourit", "S'il suffisait d'aimer" and "On ne change pas". S'il suffisait d'aimer won the Juno Award for Best Selling Francophone Album of the Year.

<i>Au cœur du stade</i> 1999 live album by Celine Dion

Au cœur du stade is the fourth live album by Canadian singer Celine Dion, released by Columbia Records on 27 August 1999. It was recorded during two sold-out concerts at the Stade de France in Paris in June 1999. Dion made music history with these two concerts, becoming the first artist in history to perform for more than 90,000 spectators, with a grand total of 180,000 ticketholders over the two nights. The album features primarily French-language songs, mainly from S'il suffisait d'aimer (1998), but also includes "My Heart Will Go On" and "Let's Talk About Love". Au cœur du stade topped the charts in Francophone countries and was certified double platinum in France, platinum in Belgium and Switzerland and gold in Canada.

"Sous le vent" is a duet between Garou and Celine Dion, released on 29 October 2001. It is the third single from Garou's 2000 album, Seul. "Sous le vent" was also included on Dion's 2005 greatest hits compilation, On ne change pas. The song was written by Jacques Veneruso, who later penned other songs for Dion, including "Tout l'or des hommes", "Je ne vous oublie pas", and "Parler à mon père".

Lara Fabian's third studio album Pure, was a three million-selling album, which reached Diamond status in France, from which came the anti-homophobia anthem "La différence." The album went platinum in less than two weeks. Lara again was bestowed with awards, being awarded a Félix Award for Popular Album Of The Year at the 1997 ADISQ gala and was also nominated for two Juno Awards of 1997 in the Best Female Singer and Best Selling French Album categories. Pure has become one of the best-selling French-language albums of all time.

Live à Paris is the third live album by Canadian singer Celine Dion, released on 21 October 1996 by Columbia Records. It features primarily French-language songs, mainly from D'eux (1995), but also includes "The Power of Love", "River Deep, Mountain High" and a studio version of "To Love You More" as a bonus track. Live à Paris topped the charts in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Quebec, and was certified 2× Platinum by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, denoting sales of over two million copies in Europe.

"La Rivière de notre enfance" is the name of a 2004 song recorded in duet by the Canadian singer Garou and the French artist Michel Sardou. It was released in November 2004 as the third single from Garou's second studio album, Reviens, on which it features as 17th track, and the first single from Sardou's album, Du Plaisir. The song was a number one hit in France and Belgium (Wallonia) and also achieved success in Switzerland. It was the fourth #1 hit in France for Garou, allowing him to be the artist who totals the most weeks at #1 in this country.

Mathieu Claude Daniel Pruski better known by the stage name PLK, is a French rapper of Polish descent. His father is Polish with his grandfather immigrating from Poland to France in World War II. His mother is Corsican. Pruski grew up in 14e arrondissement in Paris. He started writing lyrics when he was nine and composing when he was 13. Being called "mini Polak", he adopted Polak (PLK) as his artistic name to emphasize his Polish roots. At 14, he was part of the formation La Confrérie alongside Ormaz and Zeu. He later became a member of the formation Panama Bende a band formed by seven young artists from Paris together releasing the EP Bende Mafia in 2016 and the album ADN in 2017.

Gandhi Bilel Djuna, better known by his stage name Maître Gims and more recently just Gims, is a DR Congolese singer-songwriter and rapper. He grew up in France and currently lives in France and Morocco. He is a former member of the hip hop group Sexion d'Assaut and released his first major album, Subliminal in 2013. The album sold over a million copies in France and peaked at number two in the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique. His other two albums follow: Mon cœur avait raison in 2015 and Ceinture noire in 2018 reached number one in France and Belgium (Wallonia) and peaked in the top 40 in various European countries, including Denmark, Italy and Switzerland.
