Garshom is a 1999 Indian Malayalam film, directed by P. T. Kunju Muhammed. The film stars Murali, Urvashi, Madhu and Siddique in the lead roles. The film has musical score by Ramesh Narayan. [1] [2] [3] It was the debut film of noted lyricist Rafeeq Ahammed. It won the John Abraham Award for Best Malayalam Film in 1998. [4]
Nasseruddin is a straightforward man who has returned to India from the Gulf after spending 12 years doing hard labor. He hasn't been able to save up much for his wife, mother and two children. However, he has a very positive, calm mindset and tries doing business. His relatives are not keen to help him, although they are rich. A financial divide clearly appears between his family and their relatives leading to stressful situations for his children, wife and himself.
Being a very truthful and straightforward person, he loses his business. He is arrested by the police for failure to repay a bank loan as well. After being bailed out, depressed and dejected, he returns home where his wife consoles him. His mother suggests that he head back to the Gulf to look for work, which he does.
The music was composed by Ramesh Narayan and the lyrics were written by Rafeeq Ahamed.

Ramesh Narayan is an Indian classical vocalist, composer and music producer who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema. Ramesh began his initial training in Carnatic music and later mastered the classical Hindustani style under the renowned Pandit Jasraj.
Hallo is a 2007 Indian Malayalam-language comedy thriller film written and directed by the Rafi Mecartin duo. iT stars Mohanlal and Parvathy Melton(in her Malayalam debut), with Jagathy Sreekumar, Siddique, K. B. Ganesh Kumar, Madhu, and Samvrutha Sunil in important roles. The music was composed by Alex Paul. The film received positive reviews from critics. Critics praised Mohanlal"s performance. The film was also a major commercial success. It was remade in Telugu as Naa Style Veru (2009) and in Kannada as Manjunatha BA LLB (2012). The plot of the movie was reported to have been partially borrowed from the 2004 movie Cellular.
Balram vs. Tharadas is a 2006 Indian Malayalam-language action film directed by I.V. Sasi, written by T. Damodaran and S. N. Swamy, and starring Mammootty in the titular dual role, with Katrina Kaif, Mukesh and Siddique. It was a crossover sequel of the films Athirathram and Inspector Balram. Mammootty plays dual roles as police officer Balram and underworld don Tharadas, reprising his roles from the 1991 film Inspector Balram and 1984's Athirathram. The film is the only Malayalam film of Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif.
Twenty:20 is a 2008 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film written by Udayakrishna-Siby K. Thomas, directed by Joshiy, produced and distributed by Dileep through Graand Production and Manjunatha Release. The film stars Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram and Dileep. The film was produced on behalf of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) as a fundraiser to financially support actors who are struggling in the Malayalam cinema. All the actors in AMMA worked without payment in order to raise funds for their welfare schemes.
Avtaar is a 1983 drama film starring Rajesh Khanna and Shabana Azmi. It was directed by Mohan Kumar, and the music was by Laxmikant Pyarelal, and lyrics by Anand Bakshi. Avtaar was critically acclaimed and earned around 8 crore worldwide. The film earned several Filmfare award nominations. Rajesh Khanna received an All-India Critics Association (AICA) Best Actor Award for his performance in this film in 1983.

It was released on 26 May 2006 and won the Swarna Kamal Award for the Best Feature Film in the 54th National Film Awards, 2006. The film was produced by M G Vijay and it was the second directorial venture by Priyanandanan, the first one being Neythukaran released in 2001. The citation for Pulijanmam said it was 'a layered film that uses metaphors to address global and local issues of contemporary society'. The film also won the John Abraham Award for Best Malayalam Film in 2006.
Kerala Cafe is a 2009 Indian Malayalam-language anthology film produced by Ranjith and directed by a team of ten directors including Lal Jose, Shaji Kailas, Anwar Rasheed, Shyamaprasad, B. Unnikrishnan, Revathy, Anjali Menon, M. Padmakumar, Shankar Ramakrishnan, and Uday Ananthan. For the first time in Malayalam cinema, one film was conceived by a team of ten directors. Ten cinematographers, musicians, editors, art directors and almost all the top Malayalam film actors joined this unique venture. The ensemble cast includes Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Rahman, Fahadh Faasil, Jayasurya, Suraj Venjarammood, Navya Nair, Nithya Menen, and others.

Left Right Left is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language political drama film, directed by Arun Kumar Aravind and written by Murali Gopy. Left Right Left revolves around the lives of Jayan, Roy, Sahadevan, Anitha and Jennifer. Released on 14 June 2013, the film was set in three periods – the 60s/70s, the 80s/90s and the present day. It got mostly positive reviews upon release but drew occasional criticism for some of its characters and scenes resembling real-life political leaders and incidents.
