Michael Gazzo (born 21 January 1990), known professionally as Gazzo, is an American DJ, record producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Gazzo has written songs across a wide array of styles and for many different artists but is most known for his pop-driven house and dance records. Gazzo grew up in West Caldwell, New Jersey, lived in Baltimore, Maryland, from 2008 to 2013, and now shares time between his house in Los Angeles and a Hoboken, New Jersey apartment.
Gazzo is a pop writer/producer who has cuts with Steve Aoki, Nicky Jam, BTS, Kiiara, Desiigner, Backstreet Boys, Chase Rice, American Authors, Pusha T, and more. He is also currently working with up and coming artists NIKI (88rising), CADE (Ultra), Maty Noyes (Caroline Records), and sad alex (Red Bull Records). Gazzo is best known for his remix of "Best Day of My Life", which collected 50 Mil streams and helped the record go double platinum. He has also done remix work for Fall Out Boy, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Billie Eilish, AJR, and many others.
In 2014, Gazzo remixed the song "Best Day of My Life" by American Authors which was certified triple platinum. He went on to have several major artists seek him out for remixes, including Ariana Grande, Fall Out Boy, Billie Eilish. Gazzo has collaborated on remixes with Cash Cash, and has hit #1 on Hype Machine seven times. As a result, Gazzo was chosen as a featured artist on Billboard's "Next Big Sound" indicator. [1]
Gazzo was born in Livingston, New Jersey, initially lived in Towaco, New Jersey and at a young age moved to West Caldwell, New Jersey where he began playing upright bass. After moving on to bass guitar, drums, and guitar, he joined and performed with several different bands throughout middle school and high school. Gazzo performed with Children of Bodom at what used to be called Nokia Theater (now PlayStation Theater). He has also played a headlining show at CBGB with Axes for Blackwell, which was his metal band. Gazzo began teaching himself production at 16, and officially began producing in 2011, five years later.
Gazzo would go on to attend college at Towson University where he saw his interest in music turn from a hobby to a career. Gazzo played shows with Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Chris Lake, and many other artists, as well as at EDC New York and Las Vegas. Gazzo has officially done 3 or 4 Vapasana Meditation retreats.
He has his cheat days on Sundays and on April 19, 2020, he ran a total of 13 miles even after he decided to only run 2 miles to begin with.
Gazzo first released "Inspire" featuring Farewell Luna in 2013, quickly followed by his Cage EP, which has been remixed by Jai Wolf and others. Shortly after, he partnered with Kalkutta to remix "We Can't Stop" by Miley Cyrus. [2]
In 2013, Gazzo gained recognition when "Never Touch The Ground" hit #1 on the Hype Machine Popular Charts less than 24 hours after release, went viral on YouTube and SoundCloud, and was ultimately added to Sirius XM's BPM as a "BPM Breaker". In March 2014 Island Def Jam released his remix for American Authors "Best Day Of My Life" which collected fifty million streams on Spotify. After his first international tour, Gazzo signed to Casablanca Republic Records in October 2014. [3] He was then commissioned to do remixes for Fall Out Boy, Ariana Grande, [4] 2 Chainz/Macklemore, Jessie J, Ellie Goulding, [5] and others. His remix of "Centuries" for Fall Out Boy was played on ESPN College Game Day.
While at Casablanca Records Gazzo released "Sun Turns Cold" with country star Chase Rice, [6] [7] "Rewind" with Kap Slap, "Wasted Love" with Lush & Simon, and "What You Waiting For" with Sugarwhiskey. He also remixed "Hanging Tree", a song from The Hunger Games featuring lyrics and vocals from Jennifer Lawrence. [8]
In 2016, Casablanca Records partnered with Jagermeister for the "Gazzo Evolution" series. Gazzo released a 4-track EP under the same name, Evolution, which was followed by a tour. Later that year, Gazzo remixed "Carol of the Bells" for Jägermeister's Christmas themed vinyl Meister the Holidays. [9]
In 2017, Gazzo co-wrote and composed "Gunshy" with Imanos featuring Pusha T. In May, Gazzo collaborated on Aja9 Radio Disney chart-topping song "Heart Won't Beat". [10] That fall, in collaboration with American Authors, Gazzo released "Good Ol' Boys". [11] Gazzo was a co-writer with Steve Aoki and Lauren Jauregui on "All Night".
Gazzo has also had major music licenses issued to T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, and the movie XXX: Return of Xander Cage .
In 2018, Gazzo began to transition from an electronic artist to a producer/writer, as he stopped touring and began writing and producing for other artists. Gazzo's latest release, a remix of "Six Feet Under" by Billie Eilish, [12] quickly collected millions of streams.
As of late, Gazzo has produced tracks for various artists including desiigner, [13] CADE, Lindsey Stirling, Skylar Stecker, Sammy Adams, and Yoe Mase & Maejor. Since then, Gazzo has also developed new acts including sad alex, aja9, Aidan Alexander, and Emily Vaughn.
In 2018, Yoe Mase's album Soldier hit #18 album on iTunes Alternative charts.
In 2019 Aja9's singles "Treat YoSelf" and "Heart Won't Beat" were both top ten on Radio Disney charts. He also partnered with Red Bull's publishing division 'Toro Rosso Tracks', and signed artist sad alex for production.
In 2019 and 2020, Gazzo did a campaign with Orange Theory Fitness, where he produced a few dozen songs for their 'Year In Review Campaign'. [14]

Lucas Cornelis van Scheppingen, better known under his stage name Laidback Luke, is a Dutch-Filipino DJ and music producer. He notably remixed the Robin S. song, "Show Me Love" which charted at No. 11 on the UK charts in 2009. He is also the founder of Mixmash Records.
Zeds Dead is a Canadian electronic music duo from Toronto, Canada, consisting of Dylan Mamid, also known as DC, and Zachary Rapp-Rovan, also known as Hooks. The duo rose to prominence releasing original music and remixes from 2009 to 2010 before becoming a staple on the international touring circuit thereafter. They explore a diverse variety of genres that combine aspects of dubstep, UK garage, house, electro house, hip-hop, glitch, drum and bass, and more.

It was included on the band's second remix album, Recharged. It is the twenty-sixth single by the band. The song appears as the opening track on the album while a reboot version produced by Rick Rubin serves as the closing track. In addition to the song being released in advance when Recharged was partially released early on September 16, 2013, "A Light That Never Comes" was released to radio and made available to stream as a promotional single on digital music service Xbox Music on the same day. The CD single was released on October 11, 2013.

Robert Eibach is an American, multi-Grammy and Latin Grammy Award nominated artist, producer, recording engineer, musician, DJ and remixer. Eibach is a band member and one of the producers on The Lucky Band album Paseo Lunar, which was nominated for a 2020 Latin Grammy Award in the Children's category. He worked on Winds of Samsara by Ricky Kej and Wouter Kellerman, which won a Grammy® Award for Best New Age Album. Also, Eibach contributed his work on Wouter Kellerman's 2015 album Love Language, which earned a Grammy® Nomination for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album. In 2015, Lucky Diaz and The Family Jam Band earned a Latin Grammy Award nomination for their children's album Adelante, which Eibach was an engineer on. Eibach contributed Billboard charting remixes for Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Mark Ronson, Camila Cabello, Jennifer Lopez among others. He is performing as the DJ on tour with David Longoria in support of Longoria's album The Journey and song We Are One. In 2019, The Lucky Band won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Children's Album with Buenos Diaz, which included Robert Eibach remixes. Eibach's first single as the main recording artist, Play With You, was released on August 21, 2020. Robert Eibach earned his first Grammy nomination as a member of Lucky Diaz and The Family Jam Band for their release Crayon Kids in the Best Children's Album category at the 64th Grammy Awards. The album Los Fabulosos by Lucky Diaz and The Family Jam Band was also nominated for a 65th Grammy Award in the Children's Category, which featured Eibach's remix of Mi Gusta, as well as his contributions as a musician and engineer.
Sam Lassner, better known by his stage name Prince Fox or his alias SMWN is an American musician, DJ, songwriter and producer from Manhattan, New York. He gained notability after remixing songs for 3LAU, Cazzette and SNBRN. He later caught the attention of Casablanca Records, a label owned by Universal Music Group and operated under Republic Records. He was then signed to Casablanca in 2015.
Bad Royale is an American DJ/production group consisting of Maor Levi, Bruce Karlsson, Kevin Wild and Elias Ghosn. Karlsson was also a member of the electronic duo Norin & Rad.
"Ocean Eyes" is a single by American singer Billie Eilish and was released as the lead single from her debut EP, Don't Smile at Me, and the soundtrack album to the film Everything, Everything (2017). The song was written and produced by Eilish's older brother, Finneas O'Connell, and was originally written for his band. Finneas gave the song to Eilish for her dance performance after realizing the song suited her vocals. It was originally released on SoundCloud on November 18, 2015, but was later re-released commercially on November 18, 2016, as a single through Darkroom and Interscope Records.

Young Bombs are a Canadian electronic music duo currently signed to Sony Music Canada. The duo is based in Vancouver, British Columbia and is composed of DJ/producers Tristan Norton and Martin Kottmeier. Starting in 2014, the pair began working on remixes for acts like The Chainsmokers, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Galantis, and numerous others. In 2019, they began releasing original music for the first time with the single, "Starry Eyes", which reached No. 31 on the Dance Club Songs chart.
"Mic Drop" is a song recorded in two languages by South Korean boy band BTS. The Korean version was originally included as a B-side track on the band's fifth extended play, Love Yourself: Her (2017), and later remixed by American producer and DJ Steve Aoki. The remix was released as the second single from the EP on November 24, 2017, by Big Hit Entertainment and features a guest appearance by American rapper Desiigner. It was serviced to US contemporary hit radio on December 5, 2017, as a single in that country. The Japanese-language version of "Mic Drop" was released on December 6, 2017, by Def Jam Recordings and Virgin Music as a triple A-side single album that included "DNA" and a new, original song "Crystal Snow", both also in Japanese. Both the Korean and Japanese versions of the song were written by Supreme Boi, "Hitman" Bang, J-Hope, RM, and Pdogg, with the latter of the five solely handling production. The remix version was also written by the same songwriters, with additional songwriting by Aoki, Desiigner, Tayla Parx, Flowsik, and Shae Jacobs. It was produced by Aoki, with Pdogg providing additional production. A hip hop song, the lyrics celebrate BTS' numerous achievements.
"All Night" is a song by American DJ Steve Aoki and American singer and songwriter Lauren Jauregui, released on November 17, 2017 through Ultra Records. It was written by Mike Gazzo, Michelle Buzz, Jauregui, Aoki, Justin Gammella, with the production handled by Gazzo and Aoki. It charted on Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs at number nine. The music video was released in January 2018. In March 2018, a three-remix package was released with remixes from Aoki, Alan Walker and Garmiani.

Darkroom and Interscope Records released it as the lead single from the Netflix drama series 13 Reasons Why's second season soundtrack. The artists wrote the song with Eilish's brother and producer Finneas O'Connell. The song has been described as a chamber pop ballad whose lyrics recount Eilish and Khalid trying to overcome serious depression together. It was later re-released on November 17, 2016, by Darkroom and Interscope Records. Finneas O'Connell, Eilish's brother, solely wrote and produced the track. The track is described as a "somber" and "delicate" pop ballad. Commercially, it was certified platinum by Music Canada (MC).
