Gerald Nangoli

Gerald Nangoli is a Ugandan legislator and member of parliament for Elgon North County in Bulambuli District in the eleventh Parliament of Uganda. [1] [2] [3] [4] He is affiliated to the National Resistance Movement (NRM). [2] In the 11th parliament, Nangoli serves on the Committee on Finance, Planning and Economic Development. [5]

Political career

He was unopposed in the NRM primaries to become the flag-bearer, contest as Member of Parliament for Elgon North County. [6] [7] Nangoli won the 2021 elections and she became the member of parliament for Elgon North County in Bulambuli District with the majority number of votes. [4] [8] Nangoli sits on the Committee on Finance, Planning and Economic Development in the eleventh Parliament of Uganda which is chaired by Dr. Keefa Kiwanuka. [2]

Other works

Nangoli has always been fighting against corruption, abuse of office and embezzlement of public funds in the Elgon North County. [9] She called upon the stake holders of the Emyooga funds to increase on sensitization so that people can gain more knowledge on how to benefit from Emyooga funds. [10] She attended the commissioning of kaserem-kapchorwa-road. [11] Nangoli went on a monitoring tour of schools Bulambuli District to check on the state they were in and found out that most of the schools were not renovated due to lack of funds. [12]

Cissy Dionizia Namujju is a Ugandan legislator, and an ICT Expert. As of March 2021, she serves as the elected woman representative for Lwengo District in Uganda's eleventh parliament. Politically, she is affiliated to the National Resistance Movement under whose ticket she contested in the 2021 general election. Cissy has also served in Uganda's tenth Parliament under the same political party.

Lillian Obiale Paparu is a Ugandan politician serving as a Member of Parliament in Uganda, representing the Arua District. Justine Khainza also referred to as Khainza Justine is a Ugandan politician and social worker. She is the district woman representative of Bududa District in the 9th and 10th Parliament of Uganda. In the 2021 presidential and parliamentary elections, she lost the vote to Agnes Nandutu who is the current district woman representative of Bududa District in the 11th Parliament of Uganda.

Robina Gureme Rwakoojo is a Ugandan Lawyer, legislator who is currently serving as the representative member of Parliament for Gomba West County in Gomba District in the eleventh parliament of Uganda. She is affiliated to the National Resistance Movement (NRM). She also served in the tenth Parliament of Uganda. She also joined the race for Deputy Speakership in of the 11th parliament of Uganda.
