Ginger Alden Leyser (born November 13, 1956) is an American actress and model known for her relationship with Elvis Presley. She was engaged to Presley at the time of his death in 1977. After his death she worked in television and authored a memoir.
Ginger Alden was born on November 13, 1956 to Jo and Walter Alden at the US Naval Hospital in Millington, Tennessee. [1] Her father was a public relations officer in the United States Army. [2] Alden began her modeling career at a young age, during which she participated in beauty pageants. [1]
Alden first met Presley when she was five years old and he was twenty. [3] After two months of dating, Presley proposed to her with a diamond engagement ring, with the 11.5-carat center stone taken from his famous TCB ring. [4] [5] [6] Their wedding date was scheduled for December 25, 1977, but Presley passed away on August 16th. [3] [4] After Presley's death, Ginger Alden made a career in modeling and acting. [7]
She later married Ron Leyser in 1991, and they have one son: Hunter.
In 2014, Alden released "Elvis and Ginger", a memoir detailing her relationship with Presley. [8] [9] [10]

Good Times is the twentieth studio album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley, released on March 20, 1974. The album was constructed by the first pick of a session held at Stax Studios in Memphis in December 1973 and two songs, "I've Got a Thing About You Baby" and "Take Good Care of Her", which were left over from the session at Stax in July 1973. The album includes a collection of songs that vary in style and genre. Released the same day as the recording of Elvis: Recorded Live on Stage in Memphis was being made, the title was taken from the song "Talk About the Good Times". Many of the songs are covers of hits at the time, like "Spanish Eyes" and "She Wears My Ring". Charting low at the time of its release, it was considered typical 1970s Elvis material and was his first album to hit the "cut-out bins". The album did have some success though upon its original release, becoming a Cashbox Country Albums number 1 hit and charting in the Top 50 in the UK.

The TCB Band is a group of musicians who formed the rhythm section of Elvis Presley's band from August 1969 until his death in 1977. The initials TCB stand for Taking Care of Business, a personal motto Presley adopted in the early 1970s. Although personnel changed over the years, the original members were James Burton, Jerry Scheff (bass), John Wilkinson, Larry Muhoberac (keyboards) and Ron Tutt (drums).
