Gleb Tikhonov (born 1992) is a Russian-Finnish [1] male orienteering competitor.

He is a two-time World Orienteering Championships bronze medalist in the mixed relay — in 2014 in Asiago-Lavarone and in 2015 in Inverness — with the Russian team. As a junior, he won a gold medal in the sprint and a bronze medal in the long distance at the 2011 Junior World Ski Orienteering Championships in Lillehammer, [2] and a gold medal in the sprint and in the relay at the 2012 Junior World Championships in Košice. [3] [4] He is the only Russian male to have won individual gold medals at both SkiO And FootO Junior World Orienteering Championships. [5]

His best individual performances include a silver medal in the long distance from the European Orienteering Championships, and a bronze medal in the middle distance from the 2019 World Orienteering Championships.

Øystein Kvaal Østerbø is a Norwegian orienteering and ski-orienteering competitor. He has competed in all fifteen World Orienteering Championships since his debut in 2004 until 2018, obtaining his first two medals in Inverness in 2015; in the relay and mixed sprint relay, respectively. His best individual achievements are fourth places in the sprint in 2005 and 2010.

Maja Møller Alm is a Danish orienteering and Athletics competitor who has won seven World Championships and two World Games titles. She is especially known for her four gold medals on the sprint distance, where she has won the title four years in a row: 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. She is also a medalist from the Junior World Championships. Since 2006 she has been coached by Danish national coach Lars Lindstrøm. Alm is remarkable for her dominant running speed, which gives her a great advantage over other competitors at the sprint distance.

She won a silver medal at the World Ski Orienteering Championships in 2007, competing for Russia. Competing for Kazakhstan, she placed third overall in the World Cup in 2010, and won four gold medals at the 2011 Asian Winter Games.

Tove Alexandersson is a Swedish foot orienteer, ski orienteer, skyrunner, trail runner and ski mountaineer. She has won a total of 19 gold medals at the World Orienteering Championships and 10 gold medals at the World Ski Orienteering Championships. In 2018, she won the Sky Marathon event at the Skyrunning World Championships, in her second skyrunning race ever. In 2021, she won the combined discipline at the World Championships of Ski Mountaineering, and in 2023 she won a silver medal in the up and down discipline at the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships. She competes for Stora Tuna OK in orienteering and Alfta-Ösa OK in ski orienteering. Alexandersson holds the record for the number of gold medals in a row at the World Orienteering Championships, winning 11 in a row between 2018 and 2022.
