Glenn Coldenhoff (born 13 February 1991) is a Dutch professional motocross racer. [1] He has competed in the Motocross World Championships since 2008. Coldenhoff was a member of the winning Dutch team at the 2019 Motocross des Nations.
Coldenhoff was born in Oss on 13 February 1991. [2] He lives in Heesch, Netherlands. [2]
Coldenhoff in 2015 rode for the Suzuki racing team. He switched to the Red Bull KTM racing team for 2016. [3] [4] He won his first MXGP race on 12 July 2015 in Ķegums, Latvia. In Race 1 he finished first and in Race 2 he came in second after Romain Febvre. [5] In December 2018 Coldenhoff crashed during a training session and broke his wrist and three vertebrae. [6] In 2019 Coldenhoff won 2 rounds of world championships and with team Netherlands the 2019 Motocross des Nations.Their victory marked the first Dutch win in the 73-year history of the Motocross des Nations. In 2019 Coldenhoff finished third in the 2019 FIM Motocross World Championship. In 2020 he stated he wanted to continue racing for another six years. [8]
For the 2020 FIM Motocross World Championship Coldenhoff was part of the Gas Gas racing team. [9] In the first round MXGP of Great Britain Coldenhoff finished sixth two times. [8] On 8 March he finished seventh overall in the MXGP of The Netherlands, having finished ninth in the first race and seventh in the second race. [8] Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the schedule of the championship was changed. For the third round the Gas Gas team used new bikes. [9] On 9 August the MXGP of Latvia was held, in which Coldenhoff finished second in the first race and won the second race, finishing first overall. This was the first ever GP win of Gas Gas. [10] During the MXGP of Riga on 12 August Coldenhoff finished seventh in the first race but bruised several ribs in the second race and did not finish. [11] [12] He had to drive the third round in Latvia (MXGP of Kegums) on pain killers. [13]
On 16 October 2020 during the qualification for the MXGP of Flanders Coldenhoff fell and broke two vertebrae. [14] [15] The injury meant the end of the season for Coldenhoff. [16]
Coldenhoff was released by Gas Gas following the 2020 season and signed with Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Facing on a two-year deal, partnering with Jeremy Seewer and Ben Watson and replacing 2015 MXGP champion Romain Febvre, who left for Kawasaki. [17]

Antonio "Tony" Cairoli is an Italian professional motocross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 2002 to 2021. Cairoli is notable for winning nine FIM Motocross World Championships. He was also a member of the winning Italian team at the 2021 Motocross des Nations. He retired from fulltime racing in 2021 but had a comeback at the 2024 MXGP of Arnhem (Netherlands) racing for Ducati celebrating their debut of being an official MXGP racing team.
Jeffrey Herlings (born 12 September 1994) is a Dutch professional motocross racer. He has competed in the Motocross World Championships since 2010. Herlings is notable for winning the 2012, 2013, and 2016 MX2 Championships; and the 2018, 2021 MXGP Championships. He has the most Grand Prix wins in MXGP history.
The 2014 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 58th F.I.M. Motocross World Championship season. It included 17 events including Qatar, Thailand, Brazil, Italy, The Netherlands, Great Britain, France, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Belgium and Mexico.
The 2015 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 59th F.I.M. Motocross World Championship season. It included 18 events, starting at Losail in Qatar on 28 February, and ending at San Bernardino, California in the United States on 20 September. In the main MXGP class, Tony Cairoli was the six-time defending champion, and entered the 2015 season looking to score a record seventh consecutive premier class title, for Red Bull KTM. He and Maximilian Nagl started the year strong, and as the German round rolled around Nagl had a 30 points lead over Cairoli and 38 over rookie Romain Febvre. Nagl got injured on practice and missed the next 5 rounds, ending his hopes of a maiden championship. Cairoli was struggling during the summer and ended up injured as well. Romain Febvre won the title and became the first french premier-class champion. In the MX2 class, Jordi Tixier was the defending champion, after taking the title in the final race of the 2014 season, also for Red Bull KTM. Tixier defends his title with Team Monster Energy Kawasaki.

It included 19 events, starting at Losail International Circuit in Qatar on 27 February, and ending at Glen Helen Raceway in the United States on 11 September. In the main MXGP class, Romain Febvre was the defending champion after taking his first title in 2015. In the MX2 class, Tim Gajser was the defending champion, after taking his first title in 2015.

Gautier Paulin is a French former professional motocross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 2007 until 2020. Paulin was a member of the French team that won five consecutive Motocross des Nations events between 2014 and 2018.

It included 20 events, started at Neuquen in Argentina on 4 March, and ended at Imola in Italy on 30 September.
