Golem is a single-player adventure developed by Longbow Games about a young girl and a shape-shifting golem who must navigate the ruins of an ancient tower to solve its ever more challenging puzzles and re-activate its long-dormant machines. It was released 29 May 2018. [1]
In Golem, the player is tasked to explore 10 levels that unfold within an ancient mysterious tower. By using several abilities given by five forms, the golem can solve various puzzles found there. [2]
Golem met a positive reception with 75% Metacritic score based on 6 reviews. [3] Adventure Gamers gave a 4.5/5 stars rating and said, "Golem is fun little puzzle-platformer with a top-notch presentation both in sound and art direction." [4] However, when the game was released, there were a few issues with the game controls. [5]

The game was released in two parts: Tales of Bearsworth Manor: Puzzling Pages, and Tales of Bearsworth Manor: Chaotic Conflicts. Both games are set in a picture book held by a ghost in the haunted Bearsworth Manor, and have the player use the Wiimote controller to toss paper bears onto the book's 3D landscape. Chaotic Conflicts is a tower defense game, where the paper bears defend blue gems from enemy BadBears, while Puzzling Pages is a puzzle game where the bears collect red candies. Both game versions received poor reviews; critics felt that the games were amusing and creative, but found the controls terrible.
Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy is a puzzle game developed by Level-5 for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the sixth entry in the Professor Layton series, making up the third and final part of the prequel trilogy of games and according to Level 5 CEO Akihiro Hino, it was intended to be the last Layton title to star Professor Layton himself as the protagonist.
