Release

On 25 March 2015, Jamie xx premiered "Gosh" and "Loud Places" on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show. [1]

Music videos

The official music video for "Gosh" was released on 27 April 2015 through YouTube. It was directed by Erik Wernquist. The music video depicts the terraforming and colonization of Mars over the course of time, ending on a fully terraformed planet.

Second music video

A second music video, directed by Romain Gavras, was released on 1 July 2016 on Apple Music. It was uploaded to YouTube on 4 October 2016. [2] The video was filmed around the Eiffel Tower replica of the Tianducheng housing estate in the city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province in China, and it features the actor Hassan Koné and 400 pupils from the Xiaolong Martial Arts School. Young is a British independent record label that sits in the Beggars Group of labels launched by Caius Pawson in 2006. It has grown from an imprint of XL Recordings into a successful and influential label now partnered with XL and operates across a range of genres. In Colour is the debut studio album by English producer Jamie xx, released on 29 May 2015 by Young Turks. The album was composed during a five-year period while a member of the indie pop band the xx, starting with his production on xx in 2009. After starting his solo career with the remix album We're New Here (2011) and singles like "All Under One Roof Raving" (2014), he was intent on making the album something of a departure from his previous work and genre. The album features guest vocals from fellow the xx members Romy and Oliver Sim, as well as from Young Thug and Popcaan. The album produced five singles: "Girl" and "Sleep Sound" as a double-single on 5 May 2014, "Loud Places" on 27 March 2015, "Gosh" on 4 May, and "I Know There's Gonna Be " on 22 May.

"I Know There's Gonna Be " is a song by English music producer Jamie xx, with featured vocals from American rapper Young Thug and Jamaican musician Popcaan. The song was released as the third single from Jamie xx's debut studio album, In Colour, on 22 May 2015 in the UK and 28 August in the U.S. The official music video for the song was uploaded to YouTube on 28 September 2015. "I Know There's Gonna Be " peaked at number 115 on the UK Singles Chart and number 90 on the Australian ARIA Charts. It also appears on the soundtrack for the video game NBA Live 16 and NBA 2K17 while also appearing in an episode of Euphoria. English rapper Skepta's grime-influenced remix of the song made its debut on Drake's OVO Sound Radio on Apple Music's Beats 1 radio station. The 2016 UK Music Video Awards were held on 20 October 2016 to recognise the best in music videos from United Kingdom and worldwide. The nominations were announced on 21 September 2016. English musician Jamie XX won Video of the Year with "Gosh", directed by Romain Gavras.
