Steve W. "Silk" Hurley, also known as J. M. Silk, is an American club DJ, pioneering house music producer, songwriter, and four-time Grammy Award nominee; two times as Remixer of the Year, Non-Classical, and twice for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical.
"Show You the Way to Go" is a song written by Gamble and Huff and recorded by the Jacksons for their 1976 CBS debut album, The Jacksons. Released as a single in early 1977, it was the only number-one song for the group in the UK. It was later covered by Dannii Minogue in 1992.

Sims began her career as an advertising jingle singer before breaking through into the dance music market. Following a battle with alcohol addiction, Sims returned to the Billboard Dance Charts reaching #6 with "Turn It Up" in 2017.

"You Never Love the Same Way Twice" reached number 12 on the Scottish Singles Chart and number 16 on the UK Singles Chart in 1994 during a five-week chart run. It was also a minor hit in Germany and Iceland, and peaked at number 61 on the Eurochart Hot 100. The single was released in the US in 1995 as the attendant single of the US edition of her second album, reaching number 11 on the Billboard Club Play chart. In 2005, Rozalla re-recorded and re-released the track for a German label.

"Nobody Else" is a 1998 song by CeCe Peniston. The composition was to be the lead single of the singer's originally scheduled album release on the Silk Entertainment label, as well as reportedly released on Steve Hurley's compilation The Voices of Life, Vol 1. The production of her album was cancelled eventually, and releasing of the compilation wouldn't happen either. However, the singer released another two singles on the label, "He Loves Me 2" the following year and "My Boo" in 2000.
"Too Blind to See It" is a 1991 song by American singer Kym Sims, written and produced by Steve "Silk" Hurley. It was released as the first single from the album of the same name and uses a sample of the Shep Pettibone Mix of the 1983, First Choice track, "Let No Man Put Asunder". First released by the independent I.D. label in America in August 1991, it was subsequently picked up by Atco Records, which released it in the UK. Sims was asked to demo the song more than a year before she went back into the studio to record the commercially released version. She told in an 1991 interview, "I guess they must have decided to give it to someone else, but they came back eventually." The song peaked at number 38 on the US Billboard Hot 100, but peaked at number-one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Outside of the US, it peaked within the Top 10 of the charts in Denmark, Finland, and the UK. Additionally, it reached the Top 20 of the charts in Australia, Belgium (Flanders), Luxembourg and the Republic of Ireland. A music video was also made for the single.

In 2015, Sims released new remixes, as "Take My Advice" Part 1 and 2.
