Thiruvilaiyaadal Aarambam is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Boopathy Pandian. The film stars Dhanush and Shriya Saran, while Prakash Raj, Karunas and Saranya Ponvannan play supporting roles. The film, which had music composed by D. Imman, was released on 17 December 2006. It was remade in Telugu as Takkari (2007), and in Kannada as Dhool (2011).

Muthirai (transl. Stamp) is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written by Aneez Tanveer Jeeva, wife of late director Jeeva, who also produces this film, and directed by actor Srinath, starring Daniel Balaji, Nithin Sathya, Lakshmi Rai and newcomer Manjari Phadnis, whilst Kishore of Polladhavan and Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu fame and Ponvannan play important supporting roles and Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant makes a special appearance. The film was launched in early 2008, and was released on 19 June 2009.
Kovai Sarala is an Indian actress and comedian, who prominently plays supporting roles in Tamil and Telugu films. She has won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Comedian three times, for her performances in Sathi Leelavathi (1995), Poovellam Un Vasam (2001) and Uliyin Osai (2008). All in All Azhagu Raja is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by M. Rajesh. The film stars Karthi in dual lead roles with Kajal Aggarwal, Prabhu, Santhanam, Saranya Ponvannan, and Radhika Apte in the supporting roles. The music was composed by S. Thaman with cinematography by Sakthi Saravanan and editing by Vivek Harshan. The film was released on 2 November 2013 coinciding with Diwali to negative reviews from critics.
Lakshmi Menon is an Indian actress who mainly appears in Tamil films. After making her acting debut in a supporting role in the Malayalam film Raghuvinte Swantham Raziya (2011). She made her first main female lead with her Tamil debut film Sundara Pandian in 2012.

Thirupathisamy was an Indian film director, known for his works in Telugu cinema and Tamil cinema. After making his debut in 1998 with the successful Ganesh, he has gone on to make other box office hits including Azad and Narasimha. He died in a car accident in Chennai in June 2001 at the age of 32.
Azhagu Kutti Chellam is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language children's film written and directed by Charles. The film stars child actors Krisha Kurup, Chanakyaa, Yazhini, Rajesh, and Ken Karunas. Akhil and Riythvika play supporting roles while Ved Shankar composes the film's music. Having been in the making since 2013, the film released on 1 January 2016 to highly positive reviews.

Adada Enna Azhagu is a 2009 Tamil-language romance film directed by T. M. Jayamurugan. The film stars Jai Akash and newcomer Nicole, with Sarath Babu, Ashish Vidyarthi, Karunas, Aishwarya, Rekha, Aarthi and Mahadevan playing supporting roles. It was released on 20 March 2009. The film was also dubbed into Telugu as Aaha Entha Andam and into Hindi as Tum Ho Sabse Haseen.
